I had this chapter written up for a long time, and knew this was the right time to publish it. I hope you enjoy!
Long chapter ahead.

Clementine

With their hands entangled together, Clem and Louis made their way up to the front door of his house.
"Is your mum in?" She whispered, growing cautious.

'No. She's on a date with some guy she's seeing.' He replied, in sign language while unlocking the door himself.

Gushing, Clem replied "That's cute. It's good she can get time to herself too." To which Louis nodded in reply.
Since his dad left, Nicky never really got over it. She'd never tried dating anyone else.

Finally getting the door open, Louis swung it open before then closing it behind the short girl. The entire house was dark and quiet, with only slits in the curtains to allow either moonlight or street lamp light through.
Heading to the kitchen, Clem followed after him. They had no specific plans for the evening, other than enjoy each other's company.

In hand, the boy with dreads held a packet of marshmallows. Stuffing them into his mouth, he seemingly was enjoying the sugar treats. Pacing around the kitchen, Louis also began to do random things simultaneously. Such as, putting the dishes away, to making coffee and then pouring orange juice into a mug.
It was random and sparatic. Clem hadn't seen him act like this before.

Clem giggled at his childish antics, leaning against the door frame. "You seem to be enjoying those." She teased, referring to the sweets at hand.

Like a dear caught in headlights, he paused his movements to look at her. Blinking twice, he then swallowed the food in his mouth before offering her some.
She happily accepts it, beginning to eat the fluffy treats too.

Before she knew it, Louis had pulled her closer to him in a tight embrace. He let out a breathy sigh, before picking her up by the under side of her thighs. Placing her on the kitchen counter, Clem was now on height level with him.
Going in for a kiss, Clem happily accepted it.

Soon after, Louis moved both of his hands to each of the girls lower thighs. The grip was light at first, before quickly tightening. Clem didn't complain though, as it wasn't unusual for his grip to tighten and loosen.
But, loosing his sanity, Louis had unsuspectingly dug his fingers into her flesh too hard.

"Ow, Louis." She complained, pushing his hands away. "What's gotten into you?" She asked in concern, with knitted brows and crossed arms.

Running a stressed hand through his dreads, he then leaned against the opposite counter to her. 'I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. Are you okay?' He signed, trying to look for injuries he may have caused.

Crossing her arms tighter, Clem replied "I'm fine, don't worry about it. But, what's wrong with you? You seem so tense."

'There's nothing wrong.' He signed, turning away from her and grabbing his coffee and sipping on it. He was now acting closed off.
Just like that time at the library.

"C'mon, don't give me that. You can talk to me." She spoke, growing concerned at his unusual behaviour. Hopping off the counter, she wrapped her arms around his slender figure from behind.

Groaning, he ran a stressed hand through his hair again. 'Okay. But don't laugh or be angry.' He reasoned.

"Now you're scaring me. But I wouldn't do that to you. What is it?" She pressed for answers.
