I would like to express my opinion on Wattpad Paid.
I read a book here called The QB Bad Boy and Me by @tayxwriter (no, I'm not going to tag her) which is one of the chosen books for the Wattpad Next Beta program (which is, well, for Wattpad Paid). I only got to read until Chapter 7 cuz from Chapter 8 onwards, it was paid. It's still in Beta mode and it's not tested in Singapore so I can't really do anything about it.
Firstly, I'm pissed.
Secondly, thank God I read the book before back in 2017/2018 so I know roughly what the story is about. It's a really great story and I highly suggest you read it, well, if you're willing to pay.
Thirdly, the story is getting published in August 2019 so I can buy the book and read it since I don't think my mum would allow me to pay on Wattpad to read a book. I'm very picky about the books I read, mainly because I'm a busy kid with school and stuff, so if I decide to spare my time to read this book, it is good.
I feel that it's great that writers get to earn money from writing on Wattpad but some people like poor old me is broke and can't pay for Wattpad Paid. I'm a student. You have to understand. The thing that made me love Wattpad was that I can read wonderful books for free. Free.
I know there are still millions of other books to read on Wattpad but, like I said, I'm a picky reader. I'm sorry but I'm a picky reader. The books in my bookshelf are mainly popular books and the books in my Wattpad are mainly books with high views and votes. It's not that I only read books with high books but those are the books my friends recommend to me so...
Anyway, I'm broke. And it just so happened that the good books are the ones taken away by Wattpad Paid. Okay, only some of the good books. But still.
I'm happy for the authors, though. At least they get paid for spending a shit ton of time writing on their computer/phone and, trust me, it's stressful. And computers are bad for your eyes. But even if I weren't writing, I'd still be using my MacBook a lot because we use it for school. But I think I use it for personal stuff more than I use it for school stuff.
I guess I'll just have to live with it. At least Wattpad didn't take all the good books away...
But wasn't Wattpad meant to be... free?
By the way, I just downloaded Wattpad on my phone. In case you were wondering, I've been using Wattpad on my MacBook. So I just downloaded Wattpad on my phone and I finally understand how annoying the ads are. Here on Chrome, I have an Ad-Blocker :))
Of course, I could always happily evade ads by turning off my Wifi or Mobile Data but I think you need the Internet to read books on Wattpad so never mind. I'm too broke for Wattpad Premium, not that I would pay for it if I can afford it in the first place.
I just hope there are ways to get coins for free to unlock stories that are in under Wattpad Paid. After all, I'm just a poor 15-year-old student. Well, technically, I'm still 14 since my birthday hasn't passed.
Conclusion: I'm very resistant about Wattpad Paid unless they provide ways to get free coins. I would like it if they give 1 free coin a day. I know it looks very little but at least after 48 days, I can unlock a whole story LOL

Nothing in Particular
De TodoI noticed that a lot of Wattpad users are from America and Europe?? At least, most stories I read are based in America or Europe. I hardly see any Asians. This is me living on the other side of the world, or half of that, in a tiny country called Si...
