Is it normal for people to follow you only to unfollow after some time? Why do they even do that? That honestly happens to me a lot and even my notice on my profile doesn't freaking keep them away. It's really very annoying, like "yay I got a new follower" and a few hours later "oh he/she unfollowed ok nice".
Is it just a way to promote their account? So that they appear on your notification page and you'll check out their profile? And then you follow them back?? Some people even unfollow you after you follow back. Isn't it just so rude and cunning and scheming? Just to earn followers???
Can we, like, report users who do that? That's literally as bad as promoting your story or account on message boards, and maybe even worse cuz you hurt people's feelings by doing that and you can't remove notifications. And it will always be there reminding you of all those who followed and unfollowed you sometime later.
It would make absolute sense if they unfollow you because their following list is full but bro someone literally just followed me and unfollowed a few hours later. That reason is totally ruled out. If it's like a few weeks or months later it'll make sense cuz maybe within that period of time he/she followed like God knows how many people so he/she needs to purge her following but like a few days, a few hours?? It's a reasonable uh reason cuz you can only follow 1000 people max (unless you have more followers) so yeah.
To the person who followed me and unfollowed me, I'm not going to tag you or reveal your name here, though people who read this soon after I published this can see who you are because I commented on your profile. 5 hours ago, I thanked you for the follow and, 5 hours later, now, I saw that you unfollowed me. So much for the thanks, huh? To think I actually appreciated you when you were just trying to gain follows.
It literally went like "Hey! Thanks for the follow :)" and then, 5 hours later, "And thanks for unfollowing me after that..." so now all her 103 followers who are actually active can see what a sly fox she is. And those whom she followed and went to thank her for it can see that it was all a lie. A freaking lie.

Based on what I saw, she follows you and if you don't follow back, she will unfollow you. A follow is a free choice. You don't follow someone and unfollow because this someone doesn't follow back. That way, you're following this person for the wrong reasons. It just makes it look like a way to gain followers. Oh, sorry, it is meant to be a way to gain followers.
I know Wattpad glitches and somehow you unfollow someone without knowing but it has never happened to me before. Nope.
I'm sure no one likes to be followed and unfollowed later. No one does. It sucks. But people don't really think about others, do they?
