The rest of the car ride back to the city was quiet and peaceful. I didn't wanna say the wrong thing and have us fighting again so I stayed quiet.

"Wanna go for lunch?" Reece breaks the silence as we pull back into London, "where to?" I ask, "Nando's?" He grins, "sure," I chuckle, "Alright," he stifles a laugh as he makes a right turn.

I couldn't help but notice the smile that he could hardly wipe off his face. It wasn't like a huge grin, but it was just a soft, genuine smile. Houses and buildings pass as I stare out my window and daydream.

Reece orders for us and hands me my food. He pulls into a parking spot so we can eat without having to worry about driving. I take a bite of my wrap before Reece starts talking. "So your friend Emily," I look over to him, "what about her?" I ask, "what's her deal?" He asks, "what do you mean?" I ask before taking another bite, "she seems...desperate," Reece says, "desperate...maybe. She just needs...I don't know...reassurance? Like she needs to be reminded that guys like her so she sleeps around," I explain.

"That's kind of sad," Reece furrows his eyebrows, "it is sad. Her family never gives her attention so she finds it in everyone else. Good or bad," I sigh, "when did she move to London?" He asks, "just before high school started," I reply, making eye contact with Reece, "why'd she move?" He asks, "not sure."

The rest of the week was as stressful as I anticipated. Crammed with studying, comforting George, and getting ready for my date with Blake.

The hallways crowd as the warning bell for first period rings. I quickly make my way to class, history. I hated it. It was so boring. My teacher talks so slow and he's so boring. However, English isn't much better considering my English teacher always hits on the good-looking guys and she's got this annoying high-pitched voice. God she pissed me off.

Period 6 came along though. My biology class. I smile as I make my way to my seat next to Blake. "Ready for our date tonight?" He smiles. This kid would not shut up about this date all week. "Sure am. Why can't you tell me where you're taking me?" I whine, "because it's a surprise," he chuckles softly, "fine," I playfully roll my eyes.

Biology class starts and we're looking at plants to see parts that are living which is quite stupid because the entire thing is living. The class goes by quickly, though and I'm soon walking home from school.

"Hey Aiden," George greets me as I walk in the front door, "Hey," I smile, "what're you up to tonight?" He asks, "I've got a date," I smile, "a date?" George grins, "with who?" George teases me, "his names Blake," I blush, "where are you guys going?" George ask, "it's a surprise," I shrug, "well I guess you better go get ready," George smiles.

I run up the stairs 2 steps at a time and fly into my room. Not knowing what to wear I throw on a black jean skirt, black tank top and a large orange cardigan.

I look at myself in the mirror, studying the outfit before I begin my makeup.

By the time I'm finished with that, an hour has gone by of me doing and redoing my makeup 4 times. Nerves?

"Aiden! Blake's here!" George calls from the bottom of the stairs. I take one last glance at myself in the mirror, fixing my hair before grabbing my bag and walking downstairs. "You look beautiful," Blake smiles, "thank you," I blush, "hands to yourself," George gives Blake a stern look, "will do," Blake chuckles, putting his hands up in defence.

"Have fun, alright?" George says to me in a softer tone, "okay," I nod, "bye," George says as we walk out, "bye," I smile, turning around. Blake holds my hand as we walk down to his car. He opens my door for me and allows me to get in, "thank you," I smile, "only doing my job," Blake smiles before closing my door.

He walks around to the other side and gets in the drivers side. "Put this on," Blake hands me a blindfold, "What?" I ask in disbelief, "put it on!" He laughs, "okay, okay," I chuckle softly, taking the blindfold from his hand and putting it over my eyes.

We soon begin driving to the mystery location. We're only driving a few minutes though before we come to a stop and Blake gets out. My car door opens and I reach for Blake to help me out, which he graciously does.

Blake holds my hand as he leads me through a gate and through a bunch of small rocks. "Ready?" He asks, "yeah," I say softly. Blake pulls off my blindfold, revealing an adorable table set with a candle in the centre, fairy lights wrapped around the pergola that sat above the table, and a rose sat where I assumed I would sit.

He walks over, grabs the rose and gives it to me. "Thank you," I smile at him, "anything for you," he says, inches away from my face. He slowly leans in and connects his lips with mine.

I smiled as Blake's lips lingered before he pulled away. "Shall we eat?" He smiles.
