The next morning I wake up next to Reece and I think back to last night remembering that was our first time as a couple. Wrapped in his embrace, I reach my arm out from under the blanket and grab my phone to check the time. 11:32 am.

I shifted so I was facing Reece, trying not to fall off the car seat. "Reece, wake up," I say softly, shaking him awake, "morning, babe," he says groggily, "morning," I smile, getting all gushy, "how'd you sleep?" He asks, moving the hair out of my face and tucks in behind my ear, "good, I was pretty worn out," I chuckle softly, "were you?" He chuckles, blushing a bit, "Yeah."

After we got dressed, we drove back into the city and went to the flat. "I'm going to figure out what the hell to wear tonight," I say kicking off my shoes and walking to our bedroom.

Opening my closest, I'm immediately clueless as to what I should wear. "Reeeeeece!" I whine at him in another room, "whaaaat?" He asks, mocking me, "what do I wear?" I ask, "nothing fancy, just don't looks like a slob," he shrugs sitting on the bed behind me, "Okay," I say grabbing a white tank top and tossing it on the bed.

Looking through my closet, I find a pastel-rosey-pink cardigan and toss that over my head as well. I quickly look through my closet before I change my mind, grabbing my blue skinny jeans and also tossing them on the bed only to pick them up again, along with the white tank and cardigan.

I walk over to the door, closing it so I can see myself in the mirror hanging on the back of it. I pull my shirt over my head and grab my other shirt and replace it, studying the way it looks on me.

However, while I'm doing so I notice Reece sitting on the bed staring at me. Once I catch him he grins as he pretends he wasn't looking. I pull off my leggings and put on my blue jeans facing the mirror again.

"You're such a tease," Reece chuckles shaking his head, "oh am I?" I ask putting on my cardigan as I turn around.

"Yes, you drive me completely insane," he says as I'm standing in front of him, "you're cute," I smile getting inches away from my face, "you're cuter," he grins, "oh my god we're about to start sounding like sixth graders," I chuckle, "what's wrong with that?" Reece jokes, "we're 18 and 20, not 11," I laugh, "you're cute though," he says booping my nose with his pointer finger, "why did I start this?"

Once we pull into Reece's parents driveway, the nerves return. Yes, I had met his mum and sister before but now it was different. We're dating. They have expectations I assume.

Reece holds his hand out for me to hold as I walk around the front of his Jeep. When I grab his hand we make our way to the front door and ring the door bell. "Come in!" I would assume Lyndsey yells.

Reece opens the door and I follow him in. "Hello son," a short, but built man comes from the main hallway, "you must be Aiden," he says shaking my hand, "yes, pleased you meet you," I smile, "yes, you too," he nods.

I'm lead to the huge kitchen where Lyndsey is finishing making dinner and Lexie is sitting at the island watching. "Hey, Aiden," Lyndsay smiles, "Hello," I smile back.

Lexi says nothing, she smiles, though. I keep reminding myself that she's a twelve year old girl and she's probably shy.

"How was the drive up?" Lyndsey asks, chopping carrots, "it was long. Although Aiden's lovely music made it wonderful," Reece jokes, "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" I say acting offended, "I'm kidding," he grins, giving me that look that gets me every time.

As Reece and Lyndsey catch up I begin to notice Jamie keeps looking over at me. Something about him is...sketchy. I know it's my boyfriends dad but it seems like he knows something. Not that I'm even hiding anything but it seems like he can see right through me. He was a level of intimidating that I had yet to encounter until now.

"So you're still in high school, Aiden?" Lyndsey asks, interrupting my thoughts, "yeah my last year," I reply, looking up from the counter, "and what do you plan to do after?" She asks, "I was thinking of going to school for law...or something in that range," I explain, "interesting," she nods her head.

When we sit down for dinner, Jamie is on the end of the table, I'm next to Reece, Lexi is across from me and Lyndsey is across from Reece. I feel nervous as I look down at my meal. It wasn't anything gourmet or fancy. Simply some carrots, steak, and some creamy noodle type thing.

We spend the meal discussing school and how Reece and I met...typical things you would talk about when meeting your boyfriends parents.

"So every year, the four of us go on a ski trip," Jamie starts talking for only the second time tonight. Reece's jaw clenches as he continues, "and Lyndsey and I thought we should invite you," he smiles. Reece has the same smile.

"That sounds...wonderful," I smile, getting nervous, "when?" I ask, "April 19 till the 23rd," Jamie replies, "I'm sure I could...if Reece is okay with that," I say looking over at Reece who almost has his face in his plate, just staring.

"Reece?" I nudge him, "sorry, what?" He asks, looking up, "the ski trip?" Lyndsey reminds him, "oh yeah. What about it?" He asks, "your parents invited me," I say grabbing onto his hand under the table, "is that alright?" I ask, "yes," he nods.
