I unclip my bra from under my shirt, pull it off, and throw it in the hamper. I then continue to put on a pair of shorts before opening the bedroom door for Reece.

The look on Reece's face reminds me that my nipples are more than likely poking through my shirt. I turn a light shade of red before going to the left side of the bed and crawling in.

"Lamp on or off?" Reece asks, "off, please," I smile, "Okay," he says turning the lamp off and crawling in next to me.

The room is silent for a few seconds before Reece says "goodnight, Aiden," I smile to myself in the dark before replying, "goodnight Reece."

"So you're moved in with Reece, yeah?" George asks before taking a sip from his tea. George and I had decided to go for lunch a few days after I'd moved in with Reece.

"Yep," I smile, "oh," he says looking like he wanted to say something, "what is it?" I ask with curiosity, "my friends and I were hanging around him and his friends last week and he wouldn't shut up about how desperate you were..." George says disappointed, "actually?" I ask in disbelief, "Yeah," he sighs, "and he's the one always telling me to stay away from Blake," I scoff.

Why the hell was Reece like this? He'd act all sweet and nice (most of the time) around me then go and say something like this. "Really?" George says, "yeah," I roll my eyes, "unbelievable," George sits back in his chair, "I know right," I shake my head.

*I had fun with you the other night. Could we do it again sometime?* Blake texts me. I look down at my phone as I text him back, *for sure. This Friday?* "who's that?" George asks, "Blake," I smile, "I see," he nods.

George checks his watch before saying, "I better get back. Class starts in 15 minutes," he says standing up, "do you need me to drive you back to school?" George asks, "no, I'll just walk," I smile, "Okay, bye," he waves, "bye," I smile.

I walk out the other door and walk the opposite direction from George and begin walking back to school.

My shoelace gets caught in the seat of Emily's car as I attempt to get out, "em? Help?" I laugh a bit. She walks over to the passenger side and unhooks my lace. "Thank you," I lightly chuckle as we walk towards the diner.

I open the door and am presented to an emotionally confusing sight. Emily lightly gasps before looking at me. "What?" I ask trying to act normal, "we aren't dating," I shrug walking past him. Reece pulls away from the slag of a girl and looks at me with fear in his eyes.

Ignoring him, I roll my eyes and continue walking. "Aiden," Emily says walking past me, leading me to the break room, "what?" I ask following her, "you're okay with that?" She asks, "why wouldn't I be? We're not dating," i say to Emily who is making this a big deal, "it's deeper than that," she runs her hands through her hair, "I don't know what you're seeing, Emily! I am literally going on a date with Blake on Friday, why would I worry about what Reece does?" I ask, "fine," she rolls her eyes and walks past me.

After work Emily drives me back to Reece's apartment. We obviously moved past our little argument quickly.

I open the door to the apartment but freeze when I hear a guitar playing, followed by singing.

"Baby you look happier, you do...my friends told me one day I'd feel it too..."

I stand by the door, listening to Reece sing. He almost sounds like he's...crying? Or almost there. He sounded amazing when he sang. I didn't know he could sing.

"Until then I smile and hide the truth...but I know I was happier with you..." hearing him sing made me see him from a different perspective.

I felt myself growing more attracted to him and I began to realize how much I didn't like seeing him with that girl from the diner.

Slamming the door, I catch his attention, bringing his singing to a close. "Hey Aiden," he says softly from the other room, "Hey," i reply setting my bag on the counter and walking into our bedroom.

"You play too?" I ask, pointing at his guitar, "Yeah. Do you?" He asks, "no, my brother plays," I say sitting next to Reece, "my uh...dad taught me when I was younger," he explains, "oh cool," I nod, "yeah," he sighs before standing up and putting his guitar away.

"I'm going out on Friday," I say softly, "Okay, with who?" He asks turning back around to me, "Blake," I say quietly, "oh my god Aiden," he sighs, shaking his head as he walks past me into the kitchen, "what!?" I ask following behind him, "I thought I told you to stay the hell away from him," he says sternly, "really? You're gonna say that to me?" I sass.

Reece rolls his eyes. "You're telling me to stay away from Blake? Because what? You're jealous?" I say in disbelief, he stays silent.

"So I can't hangout with Blake but you can do whatever the fuck you want with whoever you want, right? I'm the desperate one right? I'm the jealous one right?" He rolls his eyes at me challenging him, "you know I'm right, don't you?" I continue challenging him, "I'm not jealous," he says, sternly, avoiding eye contact with me, "Reece look me in the eye and tell me you aren't jealous," I say louder than him. He looks at me. Although he says nothing. Instead his shakes his head before turning around and walking out of the apartment, leaving me there.
