As the weeks go by and the days grow warmer, mine and Reece's bond grows stronger and we grow closer.

Currently, Reece and I were cuddling on the couch watching a movie. It was my dad's favourite movie. "Aiden," Reece says sitting up a bit, "Yeah?" I ask looking up at him, "my uh, my parents want to have dinner with you," he says moving the hair out of my face, "really?"  I ask as the pace of my heart beat picks up.

"Yeah. I told them about you and they wanted to have dinner with us," he repeats, "okay...when?" I ask, "tomorrow night," he sighs, "tomorrow?" I ask in disbelief, "I don't even know what I'm gonna wear, what I'm gonna say, how I'm supposed to act," I say standing up.

"Hey, Aiden," Reece says also standing up, "just be yourself, don't overthink it. They'll love you," Reece says caressing the side of my face, "but what if they don't?" I ask quietly, looking up at him, "they're going to have to. I think you're going to be in my life for a long time, they're going to have to get used to you," he says.

"I like the sound of that," I smile, only taking one statement from his sentence, "sound of what?" He asks with confusion, "us being together for a long time," "me too," Reece replies before kissing me softly and briefly.

"What do you say we go for a drive?" Reece asks, changing the subject, "where to?" I reply with another question as my fingers meet his hair and I'm softly running my fingers through it, "anywhere," he smiles, "let's go then," I smile, "Okay," he says holding my hand and walking out of the flat.

"Can I play music off my phone?" I ask as Reece begins driving on the main road, "Sure, go ahead," Reece replies, handing me the aux cord.

As soon as I plug in my phone I go to the music app and shuffle my playlist. A song that's supposed to be sad...but isn't to me comes on.

"I'm going under and this time I feel there's no one to save me..."

"What is this?" Reece asks, "Lewis Capaldi," I simply reply, "why is it so sad?" He chuckles a bit, "I don't know. I like the song," I smile.

"And now the day bleeds into night fall, and you're not here to get me through it all..."

"You like sad music?" He asks, "some," I shrug.

"I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved..."

"Let's play a little more upbeat song," Reece says as he turns onto the freeway. Switching the song, 'The Best Damn Thing' comes on by Avril Lavigne.

"Oh my god I love this song!" I say getting excited, "just a complete change in mood, huh?" Reece says. Not replying, I begin singing with an imaginary microphone.

reece's perspective;

I couldn't help but smile as she rocked out to Avril Lavigne. "Where are the hopes, where are the dreams? My Cinderella story scene..." Aiden sings along to the song.

I gaze into the night sky, listening to Aiden just completely smash the song. And I had an idea. Not telling Aiden where we were going, I make a right turn off the freeway.

"I'm the best damn thing that your eyes have ever seen."

I smile as I look over to Aiden to see that she's whipping her hair around and dancing to the song. Now this is a side I've never seen of her. I always saw her as cold and serious most of the time.

Seeing her like this completely changed my opinion. I loved her even more.

"Where are we going? It's getting late," Aiden says about 20 minutes later, "you'll see," I smile, looking over at her, "I hate you," she smiles, shaking her head.

I simply grin as I make another turn onto a side road going towards a forest. I knew exactly where I was going because my friends and I used to come out here all the time and get drunk. Aiden was the first girl I ever brought here.

A curious Aiden watches out the window, looking into the dark forest. "Reece...where are we?" Aiden asks getting nervous, "a special place. Don't worry Aiden," I say putting my hand on her thigh. She looks over at me as I say, "you're fine."

As I park I see something moving in the bushes. "What was that?" Aiden asks, noticing the same as me, "I don't know," I say in a steady tone, "stay here, I'll go see. Get in the back seat and I'll lock the car, okay?" I instruct Aiden. She nods her head before unbuckling her seatbelt as I hop out of the car.

Moving towards the bush, I grab out my phone and turn on the flashlight. "Hello? Is anyone there?" I ask, getting nervous. I jump as a raccoon runs out of the small bush, bringing me closure to what was in the bush.

Starting to chuckle, I run my hands through my hair as I turn around to Aiden who's also grinning. I make my way back to the car and get in the back seat with Aiden.

She looks at me, and I look at her as the mood completely changes. Thinking the same thing as me, Aiden moves closer to me running her fingers through my hair.

I lean in to kiss her but she moves back, smiling as she teases me. I smirk back before I pull on her shirt, bringing her towards me and kissing her desperately.

Her nails lightly drag down the side of my face as the kiss becomes more intense. I gently push her onto her back, not breaking the kiss. She pulls away, but not too far away and looks at me for a second.

"Can we..." She says. At first I'm confused, but I quickly catch on, "Are you sure?" I ask, "yeah."
