Stefan Salvatore had just arrived to New Orleans, before he can exit out of his car he puts a large bandage over the still-unhealed X-shape wound from Rayna's sword before walking into St. James Infirmary and heading straight for the bar, sighing as he sits down. After a moment, a shot is slid down the table towards him, which was passes down by Klaus who sat next to Stefan. Klaus both amused and slightly suspicious, smirks devilishly at Stefan

"Welcome to New Orleans, old friend" Klaus says making Stefan stare at him in shock

"Klaus, as I live and breathe" Stefan says surprised that the original hybrid had found him so quickly

"Stefan Salvatore in the Crescent City. This ought to be very good, or entertainingly bad" Klaus says with a smile

"I'm just in town for a little R & R. Hate to disappoint." Stefan says as he picks up the shot glass in front of him and drinks the liquor in it with a small smile, "So... How are Elijah, and, uh, whoever else you've brought back from the dead?"

"Oh, you know the Mikaelson's. Never a dull moment" Klaus says drinking his shot just as Stefan's phone rings and before he can click ignore and pocket away his phone Klaus saw the caller ID that read Damon, "So, of all the gin joints, you pick ours... Four walls invulnerable to the magic of those pesky locator spells. Bit of a coincidence, isn't it?"

"Damon's looking for me, and I don't want to be found. I figure you, of all people, can relate to family drama" Stefan says as he twists the truth so he wouldn't have to completely be telling a lie

"Sylvia, this is an old friend. Please keep his cup brimming" Klaus tells the bar tender making her walk towards the two and check Stefan out

"Mmm. Cute old friend. Where have you been hiding him?" Silvia asks as her eyes were still on Stefan

"Quaint little place called Mystic Falls. Home of the mining fires that prompted a town-wide evacuation. It was very noble of you to stand up for the human faction as you did, in such uncharacteristically sweeping, dramatic fashion" Klaus says making Stefan chuckle

"I did have some help" Stefan says referring to everyone in Mystic Falls that was by his side

"How is Caroline?" Klaus asks with a smirk making Stefan sigh

"Sylvia, I think we're gonna need another round" Stefan tells the bartender  Stefan informs Klaus of everything that has been doing on in Mystic Falls from when he had left.

All starting from Silas which involved the Travelers. To Bonnie and Damon being stuck somewhere that made the world believe they were dead, and to come back into the real world it led for a Gemini witch to escape with them. The Gemini witch was evil and he was also special because he was a twin, meaning he was a Siphon and he was able to siphon away the spell on Mystic Falls that forbid any supernatural to cross its border. Only to have Stefan and Damon's mother come back into their life as a vampire with a new family of Heretics that were witches turned vampires.

During all of the new trouble that Mystic Falls drew in like a beacon, two new Gemini witches were created but yet to be born. Their coven, along with their mother that held them in the womb, were murdered by their evil uncle. Before the coven could take their last breath, they chanted a spell that made Caroline become the surrogate mother of those twin Gemini witches. Complicating Stefan and Caroline's new relationship. There was more, but because Stefan was running away from it he didn't say a word about what caused his X-shape mark.

While Klaus stood up for a refill on their drinks, Stefan finally answered his brothers phone call. Which resulted in Damon needing Klaus blood that served as an antidote for a potential werewolf bite.
