Harry's POV
As soon as the bell rang signalling the end of class I ran out the door as quick as I could to catch up with Indy. I caught a glimpse of her dark blonde hair flashing around the corner as I chased after her.
I felt absolutely horrible after what happened, it almost made me sick. To think that I would say such disgusting things to my best friend, I didn't even quite understand why I did it. To be perfectly honest it's all a bit of a blur now, I guess I just said it in the heat of the moment. That still doesn't make it even the slightest bit okay though. I can also assure you that trying to wash the smell of a raspberry cheesecake frappe out of your hair is certainly a challenge. Needless to say it came out after 4 washes, and I well and truly deserved it anyway.
"Indy! Wait up." I called after her, hoping to get her attention.
She looked over her shoulder in confusion, looking for the source of her name.
"Indy!"
As soon as her eyes landed on mine she quickly looked down and hurried away.
I'd stayed up all night trying to think of what to say or do to apologise to Indy. I went over a speech in front of the mirror what seemed like a thousand times trying to find the right words to say to her today, but I doubt she'll hang around long enough to here them anyway. I really don't know what came over me. I was just trying to make her jealous, I didn't mean to say what I did, and I certainly didn't mean what I said.
Just as I was about to attempt to approach her again, she walked up to Jake, the captain of the football team. I've never really liked the guy, he was a stuck up jerk to say the least, not mention a well known player.
I watched as he pulled out a seat for Indy and she sat down smiling up at him.
What the hell?
What was Indy doing with Jake of all people?
Deciding now probably wasn't the best time seeing she had 'other' company I made my way back down the hall to sit outside. Maddie was sitting under the tree Indy and I usually sat at, and whilst she hadn't done anything wrong, I didn't particularly feel in the mood to sit with her -or anyone for that matter- so instead I decided to find a spot on the grass by myself.

"Hi this is Indiana, sorry I missed your call. Leave a message after the tone and I'll try get back to you."
I frustratedly hung up the phone running a hand through my tousled hair.
So maybe I should have stopped calling her after the first 50 ignored calls but I honestly don't know what else I'm supposed to do. Indy and I have been best friends for nine years and not once have we ever gotten in a fight this big. I mean sure when we were in fifth grade and I lied about stealing her new pen she wasn't too happy so she went and sat with Hannah -who I'm pretty sure she hates now- but that was nothing compared to this. The stupid thing is though, that whilst I should have never said what I did -and I regret more than anything- deep down Indy knows I didn't mean any of it, and being best friends for nine years, we should be able to talk it out. Instead, she wont even let me close enough to apologise. I just want my best friend back, even if that's all she'll ever be.
