Mid-September
I swung through the city like Tarzan swinging on jungle vines, I was nearing my apartment and I had to be on high alert so none of my friends saw the Spider sneaking into this apartment.
I crawled through my bedroom window and heard footsteps echoing from inside the hallway outside.
Quickly threw my mask under my pillow and pressed the spider symbol on my chest so my suit would retract itself.
I was at the door just as the knock sounded.
"Nora." I said opening the door.
"Lukas." She said waltzing passed me and making her way towards the couch.
"Any more dates with the Spider or are you still mad at me?" I asked.
After she had told me she kissed well me, I told her I didn't agree with their relationship because it could put her danger and what not.
I know you're thinking something along the lines why wouldn't you want her to be in a relationship with the Spider when you are the Spider.
The answer is, because she's in love with the Spider, not with Me.
"Not dates, but he stops by every once in awhile. Not like it's any of your business." She said throwing a pillow at me.
"Look I'm sorry, I said that I didn't want you to be with the Spider and I still stick to my opinion. I just don't want you getting hurt." I said to her.
"Yeah I know, it still sucks that you don't support it though."
"Sorry but my decision is final." I said opening the fridge. "Do you want something to drink?"
She shook her head. "I'm good." She leaned over to the other side of the couch and turned the television on.
"The Lizard still at large, as the Spider struggles to take him down.
The Spider is Central City's newest hero and has even been seen working with Central City's very own Flash." The news channel said through the tv.
It showed a video of the Lizard tossing me through a wall only to be sprayed in the face by a bunch of webbing.
It then switched to a video of the Flash and I taking down a girl who got her hands on a piece of Meta-Tech driving a Lamborghini which was the key shape that was on the satellite.
"What do you think of the Lizard?" Nora asked as she rested her hand on the side of her head.
I sat down next to her with a glass of water in my hand.
"I'm not sure. He's not like DeVoe or the Reverse Flash. He likes to be seen. Reverse Flash and DeVoe from what I heard always liked to hide around and be careful and precise with their decisions. The Lizard is undisciplined and chaotic."
She nodded. "Yeah I understand what you mean."
We watched a movie together in silence for the rest of the night.
Her phone began to beep rapidly like Barry's did back at the precinct when I first got here.
"Time to go?" I asked.
She nodded and stood up. "Text me." She said before leaving.
I flipped the channel back to the news where the Lizard was rampaging through downtown Central City.
"Time to go." I said running to my room and hitting the Spider symbol in the process.

I slingshotted myself from between building trying to build up speed so I could get there as fast as I could.
"What do we got?" I asked into the comms.
"Welcome back Spidey. Haven't heard from you in awhile." Cisco's voice said back.
"Okay I see the Lizard, he throwing cars everywhere. Spider how far out are you?" The Flash's voice said into my comms.
"Not far at all." I said as I swung over the top of him. "Save the people first, I'll deal with the Lizard."
"Hey Ugly! Didn't anyone tell you that Giant Monsters destroying cities don't make a lot of money anymore?" I yelled as I swung through and kicked him in the side of the face causing him to stumble off balance.
He hissed at me and swiped his tail.
I jumped over his tail and gave him a fat uppercut underneath the chin. "You're going to have to do better than that!" I yelled at him.
He picked up and empty car and threw it at me.
I barely managed to duck under.
"Seriously man? That's cheating!" I said as I swung into action again this time swinging around his legs like the snow speeders in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back. "Timber!" I yelled as the eight foot tall Lizard fell to the street with a sickening crack.
I landed on his chest and hoped that he wouldn't try to claw my chest open.
"When you turn back, you're going to jail for a long time." I said to go.
He growled as his chest moved as his muscles flexed, the webbing that had his ankles tied snapped and he roared with victory as his claws swiped across my chest.
I fell off of him in pain and the Lizard made a last ditch escape into the sewers. I was in too much pain and far too injured to chase down the Lizard.
I rolled over clutching my chest as my heart pounded against my rib cage, so much adrenaline, so much pain, so much blood. I healed fast but I didn't heal fast enough to stop the bleeding. I need medical attention and I knew it.
People crowed around me, saying encouraging things to get me going again but the world was spinning and I couldn't get back up. I was loosing too much blood way too fast.
"Flash... help." I croaked into my comms before everything went black.
My mind faded in and out before I lost it completely.
I saw the Flash picking me up in the street.
I saw the inside of S.T.A.R Labs.
I saw Caitlin trying to speak to me.
And then everything went black. For days.
