I exploded from the bed panting for breath.

A nurse immediately grabbed my shoulder and tried to lower me back into the bed.

I looked at her with wide eyes. "Where am I?"

"You're at Central City General. There was an accident and you fell into a coma." The nurse said trying to calm me down.

I nodded and swallowed. I was extremely thirsty. I guess being in a coma for a month really did that to you.

"Do you have anything to drink?" I asked the nurse.

The nurse smiled at me and nodded before leaving the room.

I pulled the wires from my body and the Iv from my wrist and got up.

I walked to the mirror and examined my body. It was littered with scars, I nearly vomited. Generally scars are pretty dope but not when it looks like you just have a bunch of tattoos.

Sirens flew down the street and my immediate instincts were to suit but forgot that I was in a medical gown.

A different nurse walked in and smiled at me.

"We were unable to get ahold of your family but your friends were not available." The nurse said.

Something was up. It was unlike Barry or even Nora to not answer there phones, you never knew whether it was an emergency or not.

I glanced out the window and saw more sirens racing past.

"Oh and I believe this is yours. Your friend Nora said you might need it." She said putting a silver spider in my hand.

A feeling of nostalgia rushed through me as the warm spider symbol was gripped by my hand. I closed my eyes and let the feeling wash over me.

The nurse walked out of the room.

I grabbed the tv remote and sat down on the edge of the bed.

I turned the television on as I changed into the pair of clothes that were next to the bed.

"And it seems our heroes have run out of luck as the Sinister Six has them immobilized and beaten. Central City needs a miracle right about now." The voice of a news reporter said as a livestream of the Sinister Six defeating Team Flash played in the background.

It kept on replaying the battle over and over.

"Central City just got their miracle." I said to myself as I placed the spider over my chest and smiled as the suit washed over me.

I pulled my mask from the inside of my suit and pulled it over my face.

I tugged the window open before leaping out into the night street.

The city was beautiful, the lights illuminating the building in the night but none of that mattered because of the orange glow rising from the center of town which was preceded by a column of black smoke.

People screamed and ran in opposite directions as the Sinister Six had Team Flash's back against the wall.

The Vulture had Killer Frost suspended in the air threatening to drop her if she tried anything.

Scorpion had his barbed poison tail on Elongated Man's throat.

Electro had caught XS in an electric field.

Daniel West had caught The Flash and has his arms pinned behind his back as the Flash weakly looked at his city. The city he was supposed to protect.

The Lizard had Vibe in a headlock threatening to snap his neck if he moved.

"Citizens of Central City!" Otto Octavius boomed. "Your heroes have been defeated, now to your new leader. The savior of your city. Dr. Octopus! No one to save you this time, for Central City has come to its end."

"Now watch as your heroes are executed!" He yelled pointing his finger.

The people of Central City gasped and pointed into the night sky.

Nothing was there.

Doctor Octopus laughed. "Nice try but you cannot distract the great Otto Octavius!" He yelled.

The Sinister Six laughed along with him.

"Hey Squidward! Didn't you know it's cocky to talk about yourself!" The Spider's voice said as he swung low and kicked Doctor Octopus into the air.

XS's head snapped up at the sound of his voice.

"Flash. He's awake." Nora hissed at Barry.

Barry weakly picked his head up and gave a small smile.

"Lukas?" Iris's voice said through the comms.

"Present." He said happily. "How about we take these goons to jail and save the city?" He asked as he hit Electro in the face with a web causing the electric field to disappear and XS to fight back.

The fight went on for hours, both teams getting the upper hand.

The Spider got behind Doctor Octopus and sent four webs at his back. The Spider tugged with all of his strength effectively ripping the arms out of his back.

"Flash! XS! Catch!" Spider yelled throwing him two pairs of power dampening cuffs.

The pair was quick to slap them on their opponents as they took Electro and Daniel West down.

The other three didn't need dampening cuffs as they managed to take down their opponents without them.

The Spider was quick to swing around and web all of them up before dropping them all in front of police vehicles.

"Thought you were dead." Captain Singh said stepping up next to the Spider.

"Not while the city still needs my help."

"Without you, we would've lost today. You're a hero." Lukas nodded at Captain Singh before he was whisked away in a flash of yellow and purple.

When he finally stopped moving he was standing in his apartment in front of Nora who was silently sobbing.

She dropped her mask on the counter and moved towards Lukas. Her hands reached up around his neck and peeled the mask from his face.

His now long hair fell around his face.

"Hey, Nora." He said smiling.

She was quick to lock her lips with his as she quietly cried as they kissed.

She pulled back and wiped her eyes before she let out a small chuckle.

"You need a haircut."
