KEVIN

Light flooded the room, making Kevin flinch as he woke up. "What's going on?" he mumbled a little incoherently.

"Good morning, Kevin." His attention turned to the bathroom door as Double D entered. He was straightening out his shirt, meaning that he must've just gotten ready. Kevin looked down at the wrinkled green tank he was still wearing. I guess I should do the same, Kevin thought to himself. "How'd you sleep?" Edd asked while putting on a sweater. "I noticed you were doing a bit of tossing and turning last night."

"You were watching me sleep?" Kevin teased with a smirk.

Instantly, Double D's face went red. "No! Not at all! I mean, there are moments when I look at you. But it's no longer than a few seconds. I promise I'm not--"

"D," Kevin interrupted his rambling. "It was just a joke."

Double D let out a sighing chuckle. "Right. Of course you were." Kevin couldn't help but to smile at the amount of awkwardness Double D was giving off. "I suppose I should circle back to the question earlier. Did you sleep alright?" At that point, Double D was doing everything he could to avoid eye contact. Kevin couldn't help but to smile at it. Finally, he thought back to the night before, recalling some less-than-sleepy thoughts.

"I guess I just had a few bad dreams. Nothing more."

"I'm not sure if you're aware, but dreams are usually just messages that your subconscious is trying to help you deal with. It isn't healthy to repress things." Double D wrapped a scarf around his neck, completing his outfit for the day. It wasn't a bad one either. From what Kevin could see, Edd had on a pair of tight, black jeans, an orange and brown sweater, a striped scarf, and his signature hat.

Kevin took his attention away from Double D's clothing and thought more about what he'd said. "Maybe you're right. I guess I do have some stuff to work through."

"Would you like some assistance?"

"No." Kevin pursed his lips. "It's something I've gotta do alone. Thanks though." Double D only smiled and went about his morning routine. Alright, Kevin though to himself, guess I have to get ready too.

Kevin threw the covers off of him. A pair of boxers and a green tank top aren't exactly ski-resort clothes. Kev pried himself out of bed and to the bathroom. He didn't take long getting ready. A quick rinse in the shower and a drying session, Kevin was dressed and ready to go. Although Double D was pretty adorable in his sweater and scarf, Kevin really pulled his look together. In a red, v-neck sweater, the material clung to Kevin's toned form. His dark skinny jeans left just enough to the imagination. Finally, his favorite hat sat backwards on his head with a patch of red hair sticking out. As Kevin exited the bathroom, Double D couldn't help but to admire the look. Kevin caught Double D staring, furrowing his brows. "What is it?"

Double D's face turned completely red, caught in the act. "Uh, nothing. Are you ready to go?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." Kevin just shrugged.

The boys left the room, being sure to grab their keys before leaving as well. Kevin pulled the door shut, wincing in pain. Double D turned at the sound of his wince. "Are you alright?"

Kevin nodded. "Yeah. Just still hurts a little." He rubbed the bandages around his wrist, trying to calm the pain down a little.

"I should take another look at your wound. It may have gotten worse."
