NAZZ

Nazz and Edd approached the equipment desk. "A pair of skis, please." Nazz was extremely adorable. Her head was covered by a white hat with a fuzzy ball on the top of it. Even though her coat was big and bulky on her, you could still tell she had an amazing body.

The most amazing part about Nazz though was her warm and trusting smile. When she flashed those bright, white teeth, everything in your being would just melt away into a comfortable puddle. That was exactly what she was doing to the man behind the counter. His foolish grin wouldn't subside the entire time he was grabbing the equipment. Nazz turned her attention back to Edd, seeing as how he looked way too nervous. "You okay there, Double D? You're looking a little green."

"Green?" Edd asked. "I don't think that's feasible except in the case of chemically changing a person's pigmentation. But even then you'd have to go through an extensive procedure-"

"No," Nazz shook her head, getting too lost in Double D's explanation to really let him go on. "I just meant that you're looking a little sick."

The sudden realization clicked on his face. "Oh. Well, in all honesty, I don't quite feel up for the task." Edd fidgeted with his thumbs in an attempt to distract himself from the task he about to undergo.

Nazz gives him the same melting smile she gave to the man before. "You'll be fine. I promise." Before Edd could say anything else, a pair of skis slid between them. Nazz turned to the man, still giving her that grin from before. "Thank you," she smiles again before taking the equipment, mainly just to get it out of their way. Nazz turned her back and walked away with Edd. Looking back for just a moment, she wiggled her fingers in a wave over her shoulder. "Like I said though. You'll be fine."

Giving Nazz a gentle nod, Double D gave her his complete trust. "Very well. What is the first initiative to this task?"

She giggled at Edd, wondering how he always uses such complicated words. "Well, I guess we can get the skis on you. Go ahead and step in and I'll get them strapped on." Nazz set the skis down on the ground. With just one step, Edd was already on his way to the ground. Nazz caught Edd just in time, stopping him from hitting the ground.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so embarrassed for my trembling." Double D blushed.

Nazz giggled again. "Don't worry about it, dude. Let's just get you on your feet again." Helping Edd back up, Nazz made sure he was completely stable before kneeling down to buckle him in.

From the side, Kevin stood alone with his arms crossed. He was more than amused with watching Nazz try to teach a baby bird how to swim.

When Edd was strapped in tight, Nazz stood and wiped the sweat from her forehead. Who knew buckles would be so difficult? "Alright, now that you're not going anywhere, let's get you in the zone."

     "The zone?" Edd asked questionably.

"Yeah. Like, getting you in the right mindset to go twenty miles an hour down a steep hill." Edd swallowed hard with wide eyes and quivering muscles. "Uh, maybe I said that wrong. Let's just get you in the right form. Lean forward and keep your elbows in." Edd just raised a brow, confused by Nazz's explanation. However, the Ed did as he was told and leaned forward - a little too far forward. Edd let out a cry for help before falling face first into the snow. Keeping his arms by his side like he was talk, Edd was unable to catch himself.

Double D lifted his head from the snow with a shiver, "Pardon me, but I don't think I'm correctly skiing."

A few feet away, Nazz could hear Kevin cracking up. With a hardened expression, she turned to stare him down. "You think you can teach him better?" she asked with a load of sass. Hands on hips, she didn't look like the kind of girl you would want to try.

Kevin just gave her a half smile and raised his brow. "I don't think I could do any worse."

She gestured towards Edd with her right hand, welcoming him to give it a try. Although she was a bright and cheery person, Edd was proving to be quite difficult to teach. Kevin took her up on her challenge and uncrosses his arms as he walked up to Double D. He crouched down and helped Edd back up to his feet. "I apologize for being so problematic. I assure you that it is not in my nature to make this task more exhausting that it is intended to be." Kevin put his gloved index finger against Edd's lips.

"No talking. Just listen. Can you do that?" Double D nodded. "Alright. Take my hands." Kevin offered the Ed his hands, placing them palm up only forearm's length away. Edd placed his hands on Kevin's, feeling a tight squeeze as he's held in place. Nazz watched curiously. "Now bend your knees a little, pin your elbows to your ribs, and keep a ninety degree angle on your elbows."

Edd tried to manipulate his body to match Kevin's description. "Like this?"

Observing the Ed, Kevin nodded hi head. "Almost. Try to keep your head down a little bit." Kevin pinched his chin lightly to lower it. Edd allowed him this power, moving until they were nearly at eye level. They looked at each other for a moment. A long moment. "Good." Kevin smirked.

Nazz smirked to herself, giving off a low hum of approval. "Whatever. I so could've taught him that."

Kevin snapped away with a huff that took the form of a laugh. "Yeah right, Nazzy."

"I told you to never call me that." Nazz tilted her head with wide eyes. Kevin just laughed and smiled, turning back to Edd.

"I think this might be enough learning for today." Kevin just grinned, looking down to his feet to prepare to get Edd in a more comfortable spot out of the skis. Face flushed red, he realized that he had still been holding onto the Ed. Kevin pulled away and rushed to his feet to get him out as quickly as he could. Worried for the redhead, Edd just stepped out when he was done and held his wrist in front of his lap.

Nazz finally stepped in to intervene. "Okay, so the lesson's over. What do you guys wanna do now?"

     "Knock it off, bozo!"

Edd turned to the side to bear witness to his best friends coming out to the slopes in a wrestling match. Ed was trying to carry Eddy, maybe to make sure Eddy didn't slip and hurt himself like he did in the hallway at school.

A nerve struck in Double D's chest. Tears welled in his eyes and he tore away from the view. "What a loudmouth." Kevin snared.

"Excuse me." Edd said politely as he turned to walk back to the resort.

Kevin and Nazz glanced at one another. "Nice going." she chastised him.

     "What?"

Nazz just rolled her eyes and ran after him. "Edd, wait up!" Kevin, having no other choice, followed Nazz to catch up with the Ed.
