Whenever you’re lost or a little confused
And you’re not sure who you’re meant to be
Maybe you’ve gotten tired of trying to fit in
Might’ve misplaced your identity
There’s a foolproof method for finding your way
It’s been with you from the start
It holds the key for your happiness
You might’ve heard of it- It’s called your heart
It’s the compass that always points north
The guide that is never wrong
The instinct that can always be trusted
Even though the journey is long
Granted you may not understand it at first
Its voice may be hard to hear
But rest assured whenever you need it
It is always very near
So follow your heart if you haven’t already
Do whatever you love to do
Let no one dictate who you should be
Live your dreams and be true to you

Thoughts and Things
