"I'm sad." Jinsoul said as she walked through the door into her house, throwing her shoes on the floor. She had just gotten home from the Thanksgiving dinner with her coworkers. The dinner wasn't technically over but Jinsoul and Jungeun decided to go home earlier, Jinsoul claimed she had a migraine, but in reality she just didn't want to be there.

"Why? Is it your headache." Jungeun put her hand on Jinsoul's head, "Do you need some water?"

"No, im-" Jinsoul started, Jungeun quickly interrupted, "Lay down, i'll be right back." She smiled softly then quickly walked to the kitchen.

Jinsoul rolled her eyes, and sat on the couch. Jungeun wasn't sad because of her "headache" heck, her headache wasn't even real. She was sad because of Jungeun, by now she had already realized she had feelings for Jungeun. Jinsoul felt as if the more she denied it, the stronger they would get, but what would she do about these feelings? They couldn't date, get married and ride off into the sunset... well maybe, but they would be unemployed.

Yeah. we could be just like Heejin and Hyunjin. We could date, get married, adopt two little boys and ride off into the sunset. UNEMPLOYED. broke, no money, no home, not suitable parents, no one to pay the wedding expenses, or no honey moon.

Jinsoul frowned as she thought about it.

It's not fair how a stupid policy could stop love between two coworkers. Stupid Sooyoung just HAD to bring it up? didn't she.., but maybe Hyunjin could blackmail her, so we both could be fired?? It's useless, no point in dragging Jiwoo, Sooyoung, AND Hyunjin into this.

"Stop thinking so hard, i can hear your thoughts from here." Jungeun said walking back into the living room setting a cup of orange soda on the coffee table in front of Jinsoul.

Jinsoul just stared at the cup, "I don't have a headache."

"Why do you lie?" Jungeun said, looking at what Jinsoul was looking at, which in this case was the orange soda, across from her.

"I'm not sad because of the headache either." Jinsoul said her eyes focused one the bubbles rising to the top of the glass.

Jungeun didn't say anything, she waited for Jinsoul to finish.

"Jungeun, listen, I don't know if you'd notice but-" Jinsoul hesitated, she took her eyes off the orange soda and looked up at Jungeun sharply.

Jungeun locked eyes with her, and waited for her to finish.

"Jungeun, I'm literally in love with you."

Jinsoul waited for Jungeun to respond, the Jungeun from the first day she met her came out. The cocky, sassy, and arrogant Jungeun.

Jungeun just smirked, "literally? I don't think you can be figuratively in love with someone." She said making eye contact with Jinsoul.

"I'm opening up to you, Jungeun, don't be like that.." Jinsoul responded, she wasn't expecting this answer from Jungeun.

"Unnie, you can call me Kim Lip." She said, she got closer to Jinsoul and lifted her chin so that their eyes met.

"Kim Lip.." Jinsoul said

Jungeun and Jinsoul stared into each other eyes, it seemed as if they were frozen in time and could not move, no one made the effort to move, or make the next move.

"I could look into your eyes forever." Jungeun said.

Jinsoul pushed her away and laughed, "cheesy!"

Jungeun yelled, "ahhhh, you ruined the moment. I hit my ankle on the table."

Jinsoul just laughed, and took her cup of orange soda, "yah, be careful, you could've spilled my drink."

Jungeun frowned, "You're such a jerk."
