Chapter 21~ The hunt

 We rode through the town people bowing as the prince and the knights of Lishengure rode to the gates people giving words of encoragment as we left the gates the horses picking up on our urgency and picking up a trot a trail being left, though it was not one that would be seen by anyone else though Cyprus was different than most people he could see where people had gone even animals.

"My lord Cyprus we are heading for the enchanted wood it's no place for a prince we already lost one today" said one of the guards.

 "yes I am aware and we will keep on if you fear the woods turn back otherwise be silent" Cyprus responded and we continued on in silence until we saw as elf on an elk.

"I thought we would meet again sweet Joseline" he said smirking and I sighed walking forward.

"sir elf... we need to pass Matilda has" I started hesitant then I finished.

 "she killed Trystan" I said out loud to him and the elf's eyes shifted and changed as he thought for a moment.

 "first off my name is Lukion and second I can help you find Matilda she hides to the western side of the woods she has been caught by our guards there" he said.

"she will be yours when we are done with her she must pay for what she did" he said looking at us from his elk.

 "but Lukion she is to be tried in the kingdom of Lishengure to pay for her crime by pain of death" I said knowing what would come of my life long friend.

 "death is to good for her" he said before turning his mounts great head and walking off.

"Let us keep moving we have lots of ground to cover before nightfall if we are to get to their cells they are deep in the forest" Lukion said waving us on Cyprus hesitating then tapping his horse to follow the rest of us doing the same making our way off of the path to the heart of the woods.

"How much farther Lukion?" Cyprus asked getting anoyed by the long ride wanting to get to Matilida.

 "Not father now sire" he said stopping his elk a man taking the reins of the great beast the horses being held by others that came from the trees Lukion jumping down and going into the tree and coming out moments later with Monroe in hand a sort of special binding on her.

"she can't hurt anyone while she's tied up with us but as soon as she is released she will do as she wishes" Lukion said as he handed her to us tieing her to one of the horses saddle horns and we turned Cyprus tapping his horse into a walk.

 "come on scum" he said the rest of us falling in behind him making our way out of the enchanted forest and over the river.

"keep up now" Cyprus shouted back to all of us the horses silently complaining as they walked slower than before.

 "My lord the horses tire" I said as we continued on some of the horse fighting the movments of the riders wanting to stop and rest as they were used to for the royal horses didn't do alot.

"Lishengure isn't to much farther we will be there soon the horses will be fine" he said as we pushed on reaching Lishengure the horses going to the stables willingly as the stable people lead them off the guards taking Matilida to the cells keeping her in the bindings the elves had put her in so not to risk losing her in anyway.

"My lord Cyprus" I called catching up to him as he stopped turning to look at me.

 "yes Joseline?" he said looking at me softly.

 "I..I need to see him" I said softly my eyes falling to the stones below my feet.

 "very well come child" he said gently taking my hand and leading me into the greiving hall trystan's body laying at peace on the raised platform.

His eyes were closed the color gone from his face, my heart was heavy as I walked towards him laying my hand on his which were folded together "my dear Trystan I loved you once and never will I foget you my sweet prince our love was hidden never to be" I whispred softly to him though none of my words meant anything to him now.

I sat on the cold floor for a long while tears finding their way to my eyes again filling them with their river that soon over ran it's banks as I let my tears run free infront of Trystan's brother "Goodbye" I whispered to Trystan.

 "Joseline it's time to go now you have been here to long your heart won't take much more" said Cyprus as he stepped over and helped me up.

"Lets get you home now Joseline you have had enough for one day" Cyprus said as we started out of the room.

 "who's to say that Cyprus" I asked as I followed him out and down the hall to the large doors out of the castle.

 "go home and get some rest" Cyprus said before closing the large door behind me sending me on my way.
