We rode from the time the sun rose to the time it started to sink below the horizen making a camp a while off the road and eatting what we had brought with us the horses grazzing on the leafs and other things they found and as night fell Azorius and I laid down falling asleep taking turns guarding each other which worked well for us both giving us a chance to sleep.

When the lazy sun decided to creep over the forest we got up and packed up the camp only a days hard ride from Kaliora a small village outside of Lishengure full of farmers and livestock workers that provided food for the castle and themselves always giving aid to those who needed it though some of the people did more than others the warlock here made life easy being able to held with the needs of its people as well as keep the people safe.

"Do you think it will be easy to find this warlock Azorius" I asked as we started off back for the road.

"yes I would assume so unless he has died which would be much unfortunate for us and a wasted trip" he said which ended the converstaion of the ride that day by night fall we could see the town in all its glory many of the people returning to their homes for the night to join their loved ones for a meal.

"we made it to Kaliora but it is much to late to enter the town" Azorius said as we made a quick camp until morning though I wondered why the village would not be open to having visitors.

"Azoriuz why don't we enter the town now while the people are in their homes?" He sighed and looked at me with his lazy eyes full of sleep.

"Trystan the town is protected by a warlock his spells keep those who do not belong out of the village when he rests which is mainly at night and when he wakes with the rising sun all are welcome but we do not want to linger there in his presence to long unless he agrees to help us he only trusts his people though many do not respect that and end up dead or extreamly ill" He said before laying down and falling asleep.

When the moon rose to its zenith I woke Uther so he could take watch our normal rotation of the guard so as he woke I slid into my bed roll allowing my eyes to close and sleep took my fast and strong dragging me down deep into its darkness as if I was never able to wake again.

"Trystan wake up you have to see this" Uther whispred as he shook me from sleep causing me to jolt up grabbing my dagger and take a wild slash at the air.

"Was that really nessesary?" he chuckled as I put my dagger down and looked at him shaking my head.

"I could have killed you Uther" I said as I got up.

"as if you are as alert as a cow in it's field" he muttered though we picked up our camp and started for Kaliora.

"So when does this so called warlock bring down his magical barrier that is invisable" I said not amused as we stood a little ways from the front gates of the town.

"you will see if you dare enter now you will be turned to dust" Uther replied as he sat down the horses standing around for we had just lead them over.

"I don't think so but alright if you say so Uther" I said before falling beside him.

"you still don't belive me watch this then" Uther said picking up a stray rock that was nearby on the ground then he threw it at the space in front of us where the rock turned to what looked like a sort of sand texture before vanishing.

"well that was different" I said right before throwing a rock myself a man rushing out of a house near the gates pulling on a full length cloak a wildcat and a hound trotting after his fast pace as he walked to the edge of the town and saw us sitting there with our steeds rocks in hand which seemed to amuse him a smirk crossing his face as we threw the rocks watching them turn to dust or a puff of smoke.

He watched us a while longer then looked to the sky the sun taking over the night with its morning light after looking at the sky he closed his eyes before opening them the next rock I threw going past the point where the last had turned to dust in which Uther rose and mounted his horse motioning for me to do the same and I did riding into the town with Uther our steeds trotting and stopping before the warlock not moving past him.

"Well what do we have here two princes comming into my town and throwing rocks at my protective barrier what a pleasure perhaps we should play a little game that will send you to the same fate as those rocks and send your horses fleeing back to the castle stables alone" he said his head tilted and a mysic look in his eyes.

"perhaps not sir but we didn't come to upset you there is something..." Uther was cut off by the warlock before he could finish.

"yes I know about the shadow be gone with you I will not raise a finger around your king he has sworn off magic find a diffrent worker of the arts" he said before turning and walking off the village people starting to wake.

"don't mind him he is something else we found him years ago and he protects us though he doesn't like strangers give him some time to get to know you" said Joseline from behind us two others riding with her.

"what are all you doing here?" I said suprise but yet not shocked.

"we came to help the warlock of Kaliora knows us better than he does you let us talk to him" Joseline said as she trotted off to catch up with the warlock.

"Who was that" asked Uther as he watched Matilda closely.

"don't even think about it, shes not worth it" I chuckled as we walked around the village my friends going about to talk with the warlock finding us in the tavern later that day dancing and singing with some of the folk in the village though we had not drunk anything yet we were still having fun.

"Trystan come here" Joseline said waving us outside of the tavern.

"what is it Joseline?" I asked as we stood talking about what the warlock had said Uther standing with us.

"so he's leaving tonight under cover of darkness to help us?" I said confused by what was said.

"yes we need to leave before him though" she said before we all got on our horses and rode off leaving the town and riding hard to get back to Lishengure which we did not having to put up a camp for the night riding the rest of the way when the sun rose.
