Okay so I changed the lyrics to Amnesia a bit, just to make it sound like it came from a girl so none of this crap, "Those aren't the right lyrics!" Blah blah blah blah blah. Plus I changed the time length of an audition for the show since 90 seconds isn't enough for the song and I changed Ashton's twitter name lol sorry!

Another thing the remainder of this book will be going back and forth from journal entries and "live action" lol

Okay I love you all!

~Riley's POV

"Riley, are you ready?" Calum asked.

"Yeah, just a bit nervous that's all. I mean look at that crowd Cal! Jesus, Howard looks hella intimidating." I laughed nervously.

"Babe, you'll be fine." Luke came next to me rubbing my arm, but his eyes were focused on the crowd almost as if he was searching for something, or someone.

He quickly retracted his arm and walked a few steps away from us, texting someone on his phone.

Michael came and took his place.

"It's alright, everything will be alright. Don't mind Luke. He's been stupid these past few days." He smiled down to me but his eyes gave it away that there was more than he wanted to tell me.

I couldn't think much about it because Nick Cannon announced our band up.

"Coming all the way from London, England. 5 Seconds Of Summer!"

We walked out to the mics placed there just for us and the bright lights surrounding the stage nearly shocked me.

"Hello darling, how are you?" Mel B asked me.

"Uh, I'm quite nervous right now." I laughed.

"Aww, You're Australian?"

"Yes, ma'm. We all are, we just live in London." Luke said into the microphone smiling wide showing off his dimples.

I gave him a quick look, confused where the confidence came from.

"Alright, and your names?" Howard Stern asked.

In order we went around saying our names.

"Riley."

"Calum."

"Luke."

"Michael."

"And what will we have the pleasure of hearing you sing us?"

"Its actually an original I wrote called, 'Amnesia'." I spoke up my voice cracking slightly.

"You can start when you re ready, sweetie." Heidi told me, flashing her pearly white teeth.

I took my place center stage, Calum to my left, Michael to my right, and Luke at the drum set they provided. He played almost as good as Ashton so he took over for now.

I took a deep breath before strumming the familiar strings on my guitar.

"I drove by all the places we used to hang out getting wasted

I thought about our last kiss, how it felt the way you tasted

And even though your friends tell me you're doing fine

Are you somewhere feeling lonely even though she's right beside you?

When she says those words that hurt you, do you read the ones I wrote you?
