*alarm ringing* "Time for college!" you say while rubbing your eyes and getting out of bed. Today was your first day at college in New Jersey. After changing clothes, brushing your teeth you go down to the kitchen and grab a cookie and head out and get some Starbucks, since your apartment was across the Starbucks.
"One medium vanilla iced late, please" you say while taking out your credit card from your wallet. You pay, and head out.. as you head out you the door you bump into a really good looking guy and accidentally spill your drink all over him.
"I'm so sorry!" You say and look up at him, "um-, I'm sorry I- I- didn't see you, um- let me get that for you" you say as you clean his shirt off. "No, it's fine.. I wasn't looking where I was going" he says while grabbing your arm and looking you in the eyes "What's your name?" He asked "Y/n L/n" you say "what's yours?" You ask whit a smirk "Russell Vitale, but my friends call me Russ" he says, shaking you hand. You both stare at each other for a minute. "Hey, Russ" you hear his friend calling him He eyes not leaving yours "Huh? what?" He replies You break the moment of stare into, "It was nice to meet you Russ, but I should get going, I'm late to my first day of college, I don't wanna keep you waiting from your friends" "Hey, do you mind if I give you a ride, to your class?" He says You reply with "uhh, no, not at all" *skip car ride* "Thank you so much for brining me here." "Yeah, don't mention it, but hey, are you free later today? I'm hosting a party later on today" "I'm actually not doing anything later today, do you mind if I bring my friend with me?" You ask He responds "yeah, sure bring here over, do you mind hovering me your number so I can call you later for the details?" You give him your number and say "well I should get going, you have my number" you say while smiling at him and saying goodbye. "Bye y/n, I'll see you later" he says with a smirk. You get out of his car and see people starring at you, you see your friend from the corner of your eye coming at you asking why you got out of Russ's car You respond with "what?! How do you know him?" "Y/n, he's the best rapper ever, I love Russ" she says "Well he has my number" you say "WHAT!!! HE HAS YOUR NUMBER!!" She says in shock. "Y/f/n, I think you need to calm down" "Well what else did he say to you?" She asks You reply with "he invited me to a party this afternoon, I asked if I could bring you along and he said it was fine, he didn't mind" "Y/n, omg, omg!! I felt really confident in this outfit... *skip ride home* We got home from shopping and changed. *Texting* Russ: Hey, it's Russ from the Starbucks on oak street, just wanted to let you know that the party will be (the address) and it will start at 7 Y/n: Hey Russ! Yeah, we might be there a tad late Y/f/n takes a long time to get ready lol. But we'll be there, thanks again for inviting me to the party. See you there. *you finish texting and get ready* You decide to curl your hair and do your makeup, you went natural for the party. No full face make up... only eyebrows and a bit of concealer. I've never really liked wearing makeup because of the feeling of it, so I usually borrow my friends. "Hey, Y/f/n you almost ready?" You ask her " yeah, just need my shoes" she says while walking towards me looking at the outfit she chose for me. "Y/n, you look really good, Russ is going to love this" "Y/f/n, we just met today... I don't even know him personally" you say *thinking in your head* Russ is the most beautiful guy I've ever met... You stop at the liquor store and buy a bottle of alcohol, you make Y/f/n carry it because, you don't wanna make it seem like your an alcoholic lol. You knock on the door. Russ opens and says "hey, y/n ... you must be y/n's friend?" "Yes, im Y/f/n, nice to meet you" She says "Oh, we brought a bottle of wine, is that ok? With you?, it's wine, I didn't know if I should've brought vodka or something else" you say He responds with "no, no it's fine, wine is my best preference" he says while taking my hand in. You walk in and see many guys and girls dancing. One girl comes up and asks him to company him. "I didn't know you had a girlfriend" you say "you should probably go with her" you say "No i-" he gets cut off by the girl You go try to find your friend, "Omg, this house is big" you say. You end up in a dark room, so you turn the lights on and see a bunch of awards and pictures on the wall, you thought to yourself "this must be his room" You see a picture of his family and end up thinking about yours. Your parents had recently passed and your sister was gone away on a honeymoon with her newly wed husband, in Hawaii. So you were alone all the time with your friend, you never complained because you loved her, she's been your friend for the longest, since you both were 7 years old. And now you both are studying the same thing. You find a couple of pictures that catch your sight, pictures of Russ and his mom maybe 5 of them. *you think to yourself* "He really loves his mom" You then say "that's adorable" out loud And walk out the door and Russ is standing there. "Hey, sorry, I was looking for Y/f/n and couldn't find her and then got lost. I-" "don't worry about it your fine... what's adorable?" He asks "What?" You say in confusion "I was standing here long enough to hear you say something was adorable" he chuckles and asks again "Oh, you have a lot of pictures with your mom, I find that really adorable" you say with a slight smile "Yeah, she's my world, I love her a lot, I wouldn't be here without her" he says "Don't you love your mom" he asks "Yeah, actually, I miss her a lot" you say "Home sick?" He ask You reply "yeah, something like that... she actually passed away a while ago along with my dad, now it's just me, Y/f/n, and my sister" "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked" he says "No, you're fine don't worry, it's ok" you say "Well we have something in common now" he says You ask " what do you mean?" He responds with " my father actually passed awhile ago" You say "oh, no, I'm so sorry.. maybe we should change the topic" "Yeah, definitely" he says chucking. He grabs me by the hand and sits my down on the bed, he sits next to me and says "You look really good today" "thank you my friend help me choose this outfit" you say. You then think about his girlfriend "hey, we shouldn't be in a room by ourself, your girlfriend's gonna see us in here" you say "What? Are you talking about the girl who pulled me away from you?" "Yeah, her" you say He smirks and says "no, she's my friend, I don't have a girlfriend, I actually have my eye out on someone else tonight" he says smirking "Oh, really? That's nice, you should go downstairs and talk to her instead of being in a room with me" you say while think to yourself "dang, he likes someone at the party, I think I should go.. he's obviously not talking about me" He giggled and said "it's you, you're the girl I have an eye on" You think and say " you just met me though" "Do you believe in love at first sight? I think it's a blessing we bumped into each other at Starbucks today." You smile back and say "Russ I'm going to be real with you because I think you're the most nicest, considerate person" you say while cupping his face, "I do believe in love at first sight, it's happened before and things went wrong with it" He responds with "we don't have to do this if you don't want to" "No, don't take it that way, what i mean is, i would love to try it again" you say giving him a slight smile.
You felt so safe around Russ, you felt like he was the one, the one who you think won't ever let you down.
