I was born with both parents at my side,
Smiling as I came out,
Frowning as I turned away.
Because I did turn away from them
As if I knew they were going to split apart.
And if you think a mother or a
Single father couldn't do better at raising
A stable kid,
You're wrong.
I would've wanted that, because
Now I"m scared of shadows in the dark
And the sound of two people yelling in the room.
