While space intrigues me,
I do not think I can go to it now.
Titan has wanted to wrap me in its icy embrace,
Venus has wanted to burn me alive,
And yet I am here on Earth.
While my fellow man will pollute the oceans,
Make the air hard to breathe, and
Make living a destiny and not a checkpoint,
A quest.
But I cannot escape Earth because
She is in love with man the way I knew she wants
To be.
We're toxic to her, of course,
But she will not stop caring.
While space intrigues me,
I do not think I can escape to it now.
For now, I stay grounded.
Until Saturn takes me again.

PoetryI've never been a poet, that much is certain, but I can tell you that it does get written. A lot. These are the collections of my poetry I've written, and some of them hit hard for me.
