Gabby's POV*

As my mom drove me over to Will's house, my stomach was in knots. On one hand, I was really excited to hopefully have a fantastic summer. On the other hand, I was very nervous about meeting these guys. I didn't even know their names; I vaguely remembered something that started with a "D." I had three bags with me: my suitcase that I filled to breaking point with almost all of my clothes, my tote bag brimming with books, and a small duffel bag that had all my shoes. As my mom pulled into the driveway and we said our goodbyes, I was practically shaking with excitement and fear.

"Hey, Gabby!" Will said. He was lying on the grass with 2 bags beside him. When he saw me, his face lit up in a bright smile as he came over to give me a hug. "Hi Aunt Karen," he said to my mom as she started pulling out. She gave a quick wave then drove away.

"Okay, so are we gonna go now?" I asked.

"Yeah. Well, we just have to wait for Gabe," he said. After seeing the look of brief panic on my face, Will said, "Don't worry, he's very nice. You're going to sit in the front with him, you can read, but if he says something to you, please talk to him."

"Okay! I will. I'm shy, not antisocial," I responded. "So, his name is…Gabe, right?" I asked, double-checking.

"Yes, his name is Gabe and he is 19," he told me. "He's really cool, you'll like him."

Gabe's POV*

When I pulled out of my driveway, I was pretty excited. I was a little nervous about meeting Will's cousin, wondering if she would like me. I heard from Dalton that she was pretty shy, but on a 3 and a half hour car ride, I was pretty sure I would learn more about her. When I drove up to Will's house, I saw him say something to a redheaded girl who looked like she could be anything but related to Will. I got out of the car to say hi and help them with their bags.

"Gabe, this is my cousin, Gabby, Gabby this is my friend, Gabe," Will said. Gabby gave me a small smile that looked half like she was just trying to be polite and half like she was genuinely glad to meet me.

"Hi Gabby," I said. " It's a pleasure to meet you." This time, her seemed truly honest. I was looking forward to getting to know her.

Gabby's  POV*

I smiled at Gabe. He seemed really nice. Gabe and Will took the suitcases and put them in the trunk. I opened the passenger side door and put my bag of books on the floor. While the guys climbed in, I grabbed The Prisoner of Azkaban out of my bag. Those books never get old.

"You like to read?" Gabe asked me, with a smirk.
