Being with Dalton was amazing. I could forget about the world when I was with him. He was so sweet and funny, and I couldn't understand why Gabe tried to warn me about him. Dalton treated me like I was special, and that was one of the many things I loved about him.
I was sitting in the living room with Gabe while he was watching TV and I was reading the book Will got me, when someone snuck up behind me and kissed me on the cheek.
"Good morning, beautiful," Dalton said. I looked up at him and smiled. We had been dating for about two weeks now.
"What do you wanna do today?" I asked him. He sat down next to me and grabbed my hand.
"I'll do anything as long as I get to be with you," he said.
"Let's go get ice cream," Dana said, running down the stairs with David.
"Yea! Come on, Dalton. Let's go," I begged.
"No," he said.
"What? Why not?" I asked, confused.
"Last time we went, you were checking out that guy. You're my girlfriend, and I don't want you checking him out," he replied.
"But I just want ice cream. And plus, he probably isn't even working today," I told him. "And another thing, now that we're going out, I'm supposed to just pretend that you're the only guy in the world?"
"No no no. It's not like that. It's just that...Promise me that you'll always be in love with me?" Dalton asked.
"Dalton I-" I began.
"Do you promise, Gabby?" He asked again.
I sighed with a smile, giving in to his adorableness. "Yes, Dalton. I promise to always love you and only you forever."
"Forever? Or forever and ever?" He asked, smirking.
"I promise to love you and only you, Dalton Rapattoni, forever and ever," I responded, giggling. I promised him something hugely important that day. But I should have made him promise the same to me.
A/N: Sorry about the short chapter. Hope you liked it anyway.
