Cole's POV*

I walked downstairs to see everyone watching TV. "Um, hey, guys? We have to go to a red carpet party thing on Friday, so yeah. Is that alright with you guys?" I asked.

"That sounds good," Will said, looking around at the others who were also nodding.

"Gabby is that okay with you?" I asked, avoiding making eye contact with her.

"Yeah that's good. I can take care of myself here for a night," she said.

"What do you mean?" David asked. "Obviously you're coming with us."

"Oh, um, okay. But I don't have anything to wear," she replied.

"Then, I'll take you shopping. Cole, you wanna come too?" Dalton asked me.

"Uh, sure. Why not?" I said, grabbing my keys. "So, uh, let's go, then?"

When we got to the mall, Dalton immediately wanted to go to Starbucks, so we did. He conveniently forgot his wallet at the house, so since I didn't want Gabby to have to pay, I bought all three frappuccinos. Dalton had been acting differently all summer. And it wasn't a good different. But maybe it was nothing.

"Cole!" Gabby said, snapping her fingers in front of my face. "You okay? You were all zoned out for, like, five minutes."

"Yeah, I'm fine. So, uh, let's go get you a dress," I said grabbing her arm and dragging her out of Starbucks.

"Come on, Dalton!" She hollered to the blonde.

We picked out about seven dresses for her to try on, then practically shoved her in the dressing room.

Gabby's POV*

The dresses that the guys picked out for me really were beautiful, but I still didn't really want to wear them.

"Gabby, let us see!" Dalton whined. I tried on the first one; it was a high low, strapless, light blue dress. I had to admit that I absolutely loved it.

"Okay, I'm coming out," I said, walking out. Dalton was over by the makeup department checking out eyeliner, but Cole was sitting right in front of me, waiting patiently.

"Wow, you look beautiful, Gabby. Well, you always do, but um...I'm going to stop talking now," Cole stuttered, blushing, causing me giggle, slightly.

"Um, thank you," I said, blushing.

"I think you should get that one. It really looks great on you," he said.

"Okay. I like it too," I said, as Dalton walked over.

"Whoa, you look amazing, Gab," Dalton said.

"Thanks," I said. "I'm going to get changed it my other clothes, then, um, I'll go buy it, I guess."

"No, I'll buy it for you," Dalton said.

"I'm thought you forgot your wallet?" Cole asked, suspiciously.

"I found it. Now, uh, go get changed," he said.

After Dalton bought the dress for me, we drove back to the house. Cole was staring out of the window in the front seat and Dalton was driving, so I was awkwardly sitting in the back. When we arrived back home, the other guys were out back in the pool, so we went to go join them. Cole, Dalton, and I filled up a ton of water balloons, and then we attacked. In five minutes, it had turned into a full on war. Dana snuck up behind me and dumped a whole bucket of ice water on me.                             " I nominate YOU for the ALS ice bucket challenge!" He screamed before jumping into the pool.

"Gabe, get me the hose!" I whisperered to him. He handed it to me, then turned it on. I ran up to the curly haired boy and soaked him in freezing cold water.

"Oh my gosh, I hate you!" Dana yelled, pulling me into the pool.

The whole day went on like that- we all had a great time by the pool. After we had dinner, we went downstairs to have an air hockey tournament.

"Gabby! You've got to see this!" Cole yelled. I walked out into the hallway, right as he ran into me. "Come on, come on!" He grabbed my wrist and dragged me to a room I hadn't seen before. "Um...close your eyes!" He added, as I shut my eyes.

When I opened them, we were in a magnificent library. "Wow..." I breathed.

"I thought you'd like it," Cole said smiling. "I honestly don't know how we all missed it. I mean, it is pretty big."

Once we left the library, we found the others in an intense match of air hockey. Surprisingly, I wound up being the champion. When I went upstairs to go to bed, Dalton gave me a kiss on the cheek and said, "See you tomorrow, Gab."

"G'night, Dalton," I said. And with that, I walked into my room and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
