Gabby's POV*

When 5 o'clock came around on Friday, Dalton and I were ecstatic. As the Warner Brothers logo came on the screen, he looked at me with the widest smile I've ever seen. While David made popcorn for us all, I had to explain to Gabe which character was who.

"So the guy with the beard- that's Gandalf, right?" he asked.

"Wrong movie. That's Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore," I said, laughing.

"Would you two keep it down? I'm trying to watch the greatest film series ever made," Dalton complained, pointing at the TV.

For hours we sat there watching in anticipation of what would come next. By the time the Prisoner of Azkaban ended, it was one o'clock in the morning, and Will had fallen asleep on Dana's shoulder.

"Well, that concludes part one," Dalton said.

"How many movies are there?" David asked.

"Eight, in total," I told him.

"When does it start tomorrow? Or later today, actually," Dalton asked me.

"One in the afternoon. In about twelve hours," I said. "Now, I'm gonna go get some sleep. Night!" I stood up and walked over to my room. With a final wave, I closed the door and flopped onto my bed.

Dalton's POV*

When Gabby left, the rest of us all went to our rooms soon after. I really liked her. I fell asleep soon after getting into bed, and Gabby was the only thing on my mind.

By the time I woke up, it was 12:30 in the afternoon. I got dressed quickly and went upstairs to where everyone else was.

"Morning, Sleeping Beauty. Marathon starts again soon," Cole said, smiling at me.

"How much time do I have to make popcorn?" I asked.

"Fifteen minutes," Dana replied. At that moment, a tired looking Gabby walked out of her room wearing a Ravenclaw sweatshirt and leggings.

"It's about time you're awake. You almost missed the marathon," Will told his cousin. "Ten more minutes."

She smiled lazily up at him, then walked over to me. "Need any help?" Gabby asked, gesturing to the ten bags of popcorn. I shook my head while she walked over to the couch and sat down.

When Hedwig's Theme began, I ran across the room and sat down in between Will and Gabby. I looked over and saw that she had a box of tissues in her hand. She silently mouthed "Cedric" to me, and I understood.

On a commercial break, I turned and asked Gabby, "So who's your favorite character?"

"I really like the twins and, it's pretty generic, but I love Ron. Oh, and Snape. How about you?" she replied.

"I gotta say Harry. He's defeated the Dark Lord so many times and he's so young and oh my Rowling- it's back." Until the end of the Half-Blood Prince, we went on like that; watch a little, talk a little, eat a little popcorn. "So tomorrow they're playing both parts of the Deathly Hallows?"

"Yup, starting at 4," Gabby explained.

"Cool. Well, g'night guys," I said walking downstairs. I sat on my bed with the same thing stuck in my head as last night. Gabby. I wanted to ask her out, but I didn't know how. She was great- smart, kind of nerdy, quiet, beautiful. In other words: the complete opposite of me.

Gabby's POV*

When I woke up on Sunday, I checked my phone. It was 9:30. I put on my Aladdin (the Broadway show, just saying) t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. I brushed my hair and left it hanging loose. I heard a knock on my door and when I opened it, a certain blonde boy was standing there.

"Is someone ready for a lot of death viewing? Also known as the final installments in the Harry Potter series," Dalton asked with a smile.

"I still have some clean tissues left over from yesterday's, uh, death viewing," I replied.

By the time the movie started, Dalton and I had already done the Bertie Bott's Jelly Bean challenge and I knew which characters, scenes, spells, death eaters, professors, classes, etc were his favorites. I sat down next to Gabe, and Dalton followed soon after.

"So are you going to cry in these ones, too?" Gabe asked.

"Well prob-," I started before I got cut off by him.

"I was actually asking Dalton. You know, he actually cried more than you did yesterday," Gabe explained, with a laugh.

"Shut up, it's sad," Dalton protested.

When the epilogue ended, Dalton and I were completely out of tears. "I've never cried so much in one weekend," I said, wiping my face with a tissue.

"And it was even more for Will because of TFIOS," Cole said, teasing my cousin.

"So what? I can relate closely to fictional characters. A lot of girls love that," he said.

"It's true. Nerdy fangirls love nerdy fanboys," I replied.

For the rest of the day, we teased The Fault in Our Stars and then ordered Chinese food. I went to sleep that night very tired and with a certain boy on my mind….
