The rest of the day Kayla used to recover, drinking the potions that Porlyusia gave her, having trouble keeping those potions down due to how rancid they were, and the occasional glares from Porlyusia sent her way. Needless to say, Kayla was relieved when the older woman said that she was well enough to leave. Luckily, before she left, Porlyusia gave her some clothes to replace the rag-like ones she had been wearing. It was a simple white sundress but it was the best thing Kayla had ever worn in her life, aside from heavy cloaks she would have to wear when going out of the dark guild.
Currently she was walking through the forest in the direction Porlyusia had pointed her. Luckily, with the seal on her arm, only her Storm Dragon Slayer magic was blocked, meaning that she was still able to use her enhanced senses—more specifically her sense of smell. Ahead of her, there was the smell of a town. The different smells of different people, different foods, and the smell of the ocean hit her nose.
It wasn't long before the trees started to thin out and Kayla stopped in her tracks at the edge of the trees and looked down at the view in front of her as the fresh salty air washed over her. As she looked at breathtaking view in front of her, excitement started to slowly rise inside of her. She was about to join the famous guild Fairy Tail. Pulling herself out of the trance she was in, Kayla slowly walked down the dirt path to the town.

Everything around her was overwhelming. That was the first thing Kayla had noticed when she entered the town. The dark guild she came from was in a simple village, where the population didn't even match half of this town, Magnolia. Though Kayla was determined to get to the guild hall which was on the total opposite side of the city that she entered on.
Though as overwhelming as it was, Kayla couldn't help but walk slower than she normally did so she could take in all the sights, smells, and sounds that were around her. She had just walked under a small bridge and was going through an alley where stalls were set up and people were showing off what they had to sell which ranged from exotic foods to magic items Kayla had never even heard of. Unfortunately, Kayla didn't have any jewel to get anything the vendors were selling, so the tempting food that was making Kayla's stomach growl was going to have to wait. She knew that guilds had jobs wizards could do to get jewel, so hopefully she could find a job sooner than later.
She eventually made her way through the town and was standing in front of the gates that stood proudly in front of Fairy Tail's guild hall. Taking a deep breath to calm her rapidly beating heart, Kayla started walking forwards through the gates with her eyes glued to the large doors of the Guild Hall. Standing right in front of the doors, Kayla bit her lip as she mentally reassured herself that the seal on her forearm blocked her Slayer Magic as well as prevented others from sensing— by magic or by scent that she was a Storm Dragon Slayer. Grabbing the handle of the door, Kayla pushed forwards, the door opening to a calm looking Guild hall.
I would of thought that it would be more rambunctious with how everyone talked about it. Kayla thought to herself as she looked around at who was inside the building, it was rather empty, only a few people here and there. Looking ahead of her, her gray eyes met with a pair of dark blue ones. There was a woman behind the bar counter, giving Kayla a warm smile once she saw the blonde. Before Kayla could say anything, she walked out from behind the counter and moved towards Kayla.
"You must be the wizard that Master was talking about." She said once she stood in front of Kayla. "You're Kayla, correct."
Kayla nodded. "That's me."
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Mirajane. Please follow me and I'll help you through the joining process." As they walked Mira made some smalltalk. Apparently the most rambunctious members of the guild were on jobs so the guild was pretty quiet at the time, which Kayla was warned that it would soon change once everyone returned. Just as Mirajane was finished with telling Kayla that, she had grabbed what
