A/N guys I just got my nose pierced and it HuRtS
You watched Hoseok as he walked back towards the table with food for the both of you, a tradition he had started whe. You first arrived, claiming it was his duty as a gentleman and your new best friend, to get your food for you.
He still had that same look on his face as this morning, and now that you were feeling a bit better after feeling sick all day, you were finally starting to become worried.
Something was definitely wrong. His eyes looked unnaturally sunken, and his smile which usually competed against the sun was non existent. He looked all around gloomy.
Not to mention, he wouldn't look at you, and being around him felt very awkward, and you were sure it wasn't you who was awkward. His face reddened drastically when he caught you staring.
He sat down, and passed you your tray. You thanked him brightly, and waited for the familiar smile, and frowned when you got nothing. They rest of your group noticed his odd demeanor.
"Hobi, are you okay?" Jimin asked from next to you, leaning forward to look at the older boy. Hoseok gave a dull smile and nodded. His eyes met yours for a second before he turned away quickly.
This made you put your utensils down loudly. "Did I do something wrong, Hoseok?" you asked looking at him suspiciously. He gulped and shook his head, "N-No."
Yoongi sighed, seeming to finally recover from the encounter with Taehyung. "Hobi. Just say what's on your mind. I don't think it'll effect her like you think it will. Acting like this won't solve anything, it'll only make it awkward. Tell her the truth."
You tilted your head, "So I did do something? Just tell me, it's okay, I don't usually take things to heart." You lied. You knew you were sensitive, and you were sure they knew it too. However, this seemed too important, and you knew you needed to treat it so.
Hoseok sighed, and pit down his own utensils. He stared at his hands, and began speaking, "Jin told me something about you, Y/N." You looked at Jin confused. What did Jin know that was a secret?
"He told me you had this-this thing where you went into littlespace- I think that's was it was called. And he told me to look it up, because he can't explain it well, and I did..and it's-it's just so weird."
You froze at that word, your gaze falling past hoseoks face, staring into nothing. The harsh word repeated in your mind, making you want to scream for it to stop.
You heart shattered at the thought of your bestfriend acting this way because of you, and finally you realized what kind of vibes he was putting of. He was uncomfortable around you.
He continued talking, sputtering words like weird kink, unnatural at your age, gross, and one that really hit you deeply, a sick mental disorder.
Your eyes widened when the last words left his mouth, you heart stopping. You looked at your friend with a look that could only be described as betrayal.
Jin was trying to tell him that saying that wasn't right, while Yoongi shook his head slowly, at what, you weren't sure. In your mind you thought it was because of the new information he had gathered about you, automatically assuming the worst.
You stood up brashly, your chair scraping the floor loudly, bringing in the attention of students around you, including the boy who sat by himself a few tables away, Kim Taehyung.
"I get it, Hoseok! You can stop now! I know I'm a freak. As much as I wish I weren't like this, I don't exactly have control over it! You must not have read deeper into and stopped at the worst parts-" You paused to catch your breath.
Tears were falling down your cheeks, as choked sobs left your lips for the second time this week.
"Yes. It's true that little space can be used in sexual roleplay. Yes it's true that some people do it on purpose," you choked a stop, trying to stop yourself from regressing.
Jin noticed and looked at your worriedly, ready to jump up and calm you down if it was necessary. Surprisingly, this wasn't Jin's first time dealing with a Little. Infact, his ex-boyfriend was a little, and he accepted it without a thought.
They broke up not because of the fact that the boy was a little, but because the little just couldn't see Jin as a potential caregiver. The two were still friends, with no hard feelings. Jin understood.
You began again," But I am not one of those people. I don't regress for attention, I do it unconsciously. Its extremely hard to control, and right now I'm fighting with all my might not to regress. But little space is also an escape for a lot of people.
"Those who can't handle the harsh reality of the world, or become too anxious to take responsibility for things as an adult. Or those who were robbed of a childhood because of a serious event. It's a side effect of things like PTSD, mental trauma, and even anxiety."
You looked right into the, now guilty looking, boy's eyes. "So don't judge something before knowing all the facts. Maybe do a little more reading, before stopping at the first result that crosses your vision."
With saying what you had to, you turned and began walking out of the cafeteria, feeling yourself slowly regress as you began to notice how many people were actually paying attention to the commotion.
You were full on sobbing by now, and couldn't be bothered to try to hide it, knowing everyone has already witnessed your breakdown.
Your eyes coincidentally-or not, you were beginning to doubt that it was just a coincidence- your eyes met Taehyungs.
You regressed fully, your bottom lip protruding now in a more childish way, and you began to tremble in fear, your body finally pushing out of the cafeteria.
