Yesterday (August 17th) was my birthday which is why I waited until today lol hope you enjoy this chapter.

You wrapped your arms around yourself, shaking slightly as the night settled in, the sky darkening almost tauntingly quick. As if seeing how scared you could get. You had slowly turned big as your mind finally realized what situation you were in. You decided it'd be best to stay put and wait.

You flinched everytime a car went by loudly, and watched suspiciously as the deove by, almost daring someone to stop. Hoping they didn't. At one point a motorcycle had sped by suddenly, making you jump and cry out, stumbling.

After what felt like decades, a car drove quickly, and suddenly stopped a few feet away from where you stood, making you stiffen in fear and defense, it wasn't until the passenger door opened, and a familiar voice shouted.

"Y/N!" You looked up, and your eyes met with Hoseok. "Jinnie." You sobbed out, feeling your knees weaken in relief. You allowed the boy to engulf you into a comforting hug, and sighed in relief, releasing shaky breaths.

Another car door slammed making you look up. You saw the bright blue and immediately pulled out of Jin's hold, and began to run, crashing into Taehyung, jumping into his surprised arms.

Your legs wrapped themselves around his waist as your arms circled his neck, your face burying into his shoulder as you began sobbing uncontrollably, relief taking over your being. Feeling your body shake, Taehyung held you by your lower back tightly, trying to comfort you with soft words.

---

You sighed as you sat in the back seat, Taehyung next to you, his hand sitting empty on the seat next to him. You stared at it, wanting nothing more than to hold his inviting hand, cursing it for looking so lonely.

You were also sending glares at your mother who was now in the passenger seat. She looked guilty, and flinched everytime she caught you looking. You felt proud as she slowly looked more ashamed.

Jin, who was driving, sighed as he looked at your mother, and then back at you and noticing your hard stare. Your eyes darted to his, and he slowly shook his head, as if telling you to save the drama for later.

You pouted and looked away, deciding to go back to staring at the lonely hand next to you. You glanced at Taehyungs profile, and studied him.

You started at his chin, noticing the sharp curve of it, and how it connected to his shar jaw line, the bone perfectly forming the squared shape. You glanced at his lips, how they were full, but the perfect amount of fullness, then you studied his nose. You noted how it was straight at the bridge, but was round at the tip. The cutest nose.

Then you turned your gaze to his eyebrows, the hair sitting just above his eyes, perfectly full and shaped to compliment him perfectly. Then you noticed his eyes. First how they sparkled as the streetlights passed by, then you noticed the bags.

You frowned at the sight, not liking the thought of your Taehyung losing sleep, or being stressed out. You looked to his now brightly colored hair, and frowned even more. It was a messy pile, looking as though a stressful hand had been pushed through it for hours.

Making a final decision, you grabbed his hand and intertwined your fingers. He looked at you surprised, and tried to pull away, but you sighed and rolled your eyes before using your free hand to reach over and place his head on your shoulder, "You look exhausted. Sleep."

He tried to sit up, making you whine, "Tae, stop! You look tired, just sleep. It won't kill you!" You huffed, glaring at him through puffy eyes. He blinked at you, making you huff again and turn away. You began to rub our eyes with a small fist, as you felt your leftover tears begin to dry up, your eyes crusting over slightly.

You let out a quiet squeak of a yawn and stretched lightly. "M' sleepy too." You muttered, laying against Taehyung. "Let's sleep, TaeTae." You whispered, closing your eyes as you wiggled to get comfortable next to him.

He sighed heavily and glanced down are your finally still form. After a few seconds he heard you releasing quiet snores, and chuckled. He glanced up to turn back to the window, catching Jin's eye in the rearview mirror. His older cousin had a soft smile on his face, and a knowing look in his eye as he watched the interaction.

"My poor baby." Your mother muttered, taking a quick glance back at you before focusing on driving once again. Jin rolled his eyes as Taehyung scoffed audibly. "Your poor baby? You gave them permission to take her." He argued.

The woman sighed loudly, and shook her head. "You have to understand. It's really out of my control. They could do anything they desire to Y/N and get away with it. To an extent, of course." The woman explained.

"They could take her from me and send her anywhere they please. If they want to send her to an extremist hospital, they can. I can't argue. I can't tell them no. It's not my jurisdiction." She continued, glancing to check for incoming cars, before taking a left turn at an intersection.

Taehyung and Jin exchanged a look. "Thats6got to be the biggest lie I've ever heard in my life. How the hell would you not have any say over what happens with your daughter? You expect me to believe that nonsense?" Jin expressed, shaking his head dramatically.

The woman sighed heavily once again. "I know it sounds unbelievable, and I understand where your distrust is coming from. But as a mother, I hold unconditional love for my daughter, and would never wish anything bad upon her. My only goal is her happiness, but even as her mother, there are just some boundaries that I cannot cross."

She stopped at a red light and turned to face jin with a completely serious face. "I'm not the legal guardian of Y/N. Her grandparents are. I have no advantages in these situations."

Hi cuties :)
So...the past couple chapters were probably a bit overdramatic, and you may think her grandparents are unrealistic. But there are people, including older generations, that are extremists when it comes to even mediocre things such as being overly childish. And they've been trying to figure our how to get Y/N to act more 'normal' for a while. I hope that made these chapter seem a bit more..realistic.
