"No, no, no!" You screamed as it fell to the floor. It landed with a wet splat, and the three around you laughed hysterically. You pouted at the ground. Staring at the accident you caused. "My ice cream."
Seokjin laughed harder, his almost squealing echoing around the park. "It's not funny! I only got two licks!" You argued, crossing your arms. The man at the ice cream stand shook his head with a humorous smile, and handed you another cone.
"Careful with this one, I can't give you another one, I wasn't even supposed to replace the first one!" He chuckled. You smiled widely and thanked him, "Thank you!"
The man chuckled again, and began to push the cart away.
Ot had been two weeks now since Taehyung was taken under custody, and after being in big space for a week and a half you finally were able to regress after hearing the news that Sana's mother was able to pull some strings, and Taehyung would be free soon.
The relief had sent to spiralling into your happy place, which was odd since it was usually panic and stress that made you regress. You couldnt complain though, since you felt like a giant weight had been lifted off of your shoulders.
You missed Taehyung greatly, though. These past two weeks had been very hard for you. You grew close to the boy in the past few months, and were so used to being around him, that when you two had been forced to separate, it broke your heart.
You hadn't been able to talk to the boy, as he was going through too much questioning, and Sana's mother didnt want anything getting in the way, so you had no idea how he was even doing.
But you figured he had to be atleast a little bit happy, now that he was being released soon.
These two weeks did help you figure some things out, even if they were tough. You were now in terms with the fact that you had feelings for Taehyung. It was obvious to those around you, but you had to look it up on the internet last week, just to have it all click.
You giggled at the memory of you searching the words 'Why am I sad without him?' and 'Why do I feel like I have to poop when I think of him?' Both results were the same: You're in love.
You hummed happily as you devoured your cone, the twins and Jin still snickering at your past hardship. You began to walk away carelessly, stepping in the dropped icecream on your way.
"Hey! Don't step in the ice cream!" Jin scolded. You stopped and looked down at your foot, and frowned at the sticky mess that was now covering your shoe, and the ends of your baggy sweatpants.
You pouted, "Jinnie, I made a mess!" You cried, and then gasped again when your new ice cream fell on to your coat, creating a line as it slid further. You glanced at your friend again with wide eyes, ready to be scolded.
Seokjin sighed loudly, and motioned for the three of you to follow him. The twins followed, talking between themselves, as you trailed behind, head down.
The small train you all had formed, made it's way to your house. Once you had arrived, you all entered the house, and immediately your excited mother was in front of you.
Her smile dropped as she looked at the mess you made. "What on earth happened?" She gasped. You pouted again and looked down, "I'm sorry, momma. It was an accident. I'll go clean up."
You began to trail through the house when your mother grabbed your arm, "Dont walk through the house! Your shoes are still on! And messy!" Your lip trembled. "I'm sorry- I forgot." You quickly removed the shoes and coat, scared to make more of a mess.
"Don't be so hard on her, she just wanted to clean up quickly. Taking off the shoes would take time." A deep voice reasoned. You froze, your heart pounded and your eyes widened.
Your head shot over to the entrance to the living room where the guest stood. You felt great rise to your cheeks, and excitement course through your veins.
There he stood, hair now a faded blue, stubble around his lips and chin, and a fond look on his face. His eyes shone with happiness. His normal hateful demeanor had changed from vengeful and angry, to relaxed and content.
"TaeTae!" You squealed, ecstatic. You wasted no time in running over and hoping into his arms, body wrapping around him like a koala.
You closed in on his face, peppered a few kisses around his forehead and cheeks, before burying yourself into his shoulder, and squeezed in the hug.
You felt your eyes water, and began to cry. His arms were quick to catch you, and begin to rub soothingly on your back, "Why are you crying, Clumsy?" He asked softly.
You squeezed tighter, "Missed you so much, TaeTae." You whimpered. He chuckled sadly, "I missed you too. And a little birdy told me that you took good care of the Twins while I was gone."
You pulled away and shook your head, "Not me. Jinnie. Just played with them." Taehyung grinned at you, and kissed your cheek, "You kept them happy while I was away. That's more than enough. I'm so thankful."
You saw the twins enter the room, after throwing snow at each other outside for a bit, so you released Taehyung, and stepped away. "Guys." You called. They looked over, their eyes landing on you, then moving to the tall figure next to you.
Taemi let out a loud squeal, and raced forward, as Junseok stood in the doorway, his jaw hanging limply. You giggled at the face he made, and walked over to him, giving him a light shove in the direction of his older brother, "Go, silly."
Without much more persuading, Junseok collided with his sibling and wrapped his arms around the two. It always makes you giggle to think of the size difference between the twins. Taemi was a tiny little thing, about two heads shorter than Taehyung, while Junseok was about five inches shorter than his brother.
You and Jin stood back, and smiled at the small reunion. Sure, they weren't apart for very long, but it was a scary, lonely few weeks, and everyone was relieved it was finally over.
