Taehyung P.O.V.
He shuffled around, aiming to face away from the sunlight peeking through the window. It was Saturday, so he had no need to get up before the twins woke up.
He sighed constantly, and began to drift back to sleep, when a small whimper startled him. He opened his eyes quickly, flinching at the sudden brightness.
After his pupils adjusted, his tired eyes met your peaceful face. He blinked in confusion, ready to scream his lungs out, before realization dawned on him, and he remembered the night before.
He sighed, tired and ready to stuff his head back in to his pillow, from where it hovered to look around, when you whimpered again, this time your once peaceful fave scrunched.
Taehyung almost cooed out loud at the sight, but held it back and mentally questioned himself. He slowly reached a hand up, and used his finger to smooth the furrow between your brows.
As a response, your body subconsciously cuddled into him, craving more warmth in the cool morning. Taehyungs body froze and his eyes widened in exasperation.
Being labeled so cruelly at such a young age, Taehyung had never really had physical contact with anyone outside his family, ever.
Yet here you were, snuggled up to the man, your chin now resting on his shoulder as you laid on your side, your right arm and leg thrown over him is an awkward attempting cuddling. He was on his stomach, looking in your direction.
He tried to ignore the face that your face was merely centimeters from his own, as he tried to skillfully shimmy himself away from you, without waking you up.
Keyword being: tried.
The second he began to move his body, you whined and your eyes shot open. You were a very light sleeper. You blinked a few times, confused, before a sheepish smile graced your face.
Taehyung felt his heart speed up, not caring that it's owner wanted the exact opposite reaction. He gulp discreetly and just blinked at you.
"Hi." You squeaked, your face dancing in flush. Your body reacting to being so close to a man for the first time. You weren't in little space when you woke up, which meant you weren't as carefree and brave.
Your child mentality gave you a sense of confidence and courage, since like most children, you didn't think about consequence and embarrassment.
Now, however, you were entirely aware of how embarrassing this was. You were centimeters away from a man that you were supposed to hate, who somehow became shirtless in the night.
Not only that but you were very aware that morning breath was a thing, and you could only pray that your breath didnt smell like the inside of a sewer.
Taehyung blinked again, "H...Hi." He dragged awkwardly, his voice lower and hoarse from the mouth breathing, a result of his deep sleep.
Your smile grew and you giggled at his awkward answer, "Do I make you uncomfortable?" You asked lowly, trying to to let too much of your breath hit his face.
In result your voice came out sounding strained. He seemed not to notice, as he shook his head, "N..No." You raised an eyebrow. "No? Then do I make you nervous?" You asked, assuming the reason for his red face, and wide eyes.
"Yes."
He answered without hesitation. The single word hit you with a force, causing you to widen your eyes. You blinked as you watched his face redden more. "I'm glad." You admitted.
He raised a brow, finally starting to feel more comfortable, even though he was wondering why you still didn't move away. "You're glad?"
You hummed in response, your eyes searching his face in curiosity, "I'm glad that you're nervous. That means I'm not the only one."
There was only silence after your confession, as you both stared at each other with blank looks, but red faces.
Suddenly there was a bang, and a yell. "Saemi! You idiot! That's the fourth time you broke the door knob off the bathroom door this month!"
Hearing the tattle, Taehyung groaned loudly, making you jump back, and finally separating the two of you. You tried not to pout as he sat up and glared at the door.
The twins must have heard the groan, "Was that Oppa? Oh God he's gonna kill me! Hide the knob and act like you don't know what happened!" Saemi squealed, louder than she meant to, you were sure.
You giggled at her words, and sat up as well, before standing to your feet, now waking the sleeping dog, and walked to the bedroom door.
"Where are you going?" Taehyung asked from his position on his bed. He stared at you with an unreadable expression, his hands folded over his blanket covered lap.
You turned back towards him, and grinned a happy, thankful grin. Yeontan sat by your feet, waiting while his tail wagged happily.
You smiled down at the small animal, your heart swelling at his obedient act, before turning your attention back to Taehyung, the grin growing on your face again.
"You let me stay in your home and trusted me enough to bring me in and even be around you siblings, let little me bring a stray dog in, allowed me to bathe the dog, and let me borrow pajamas, and sleep in your bed. You expect me to let you do that without repaying you?"
You stared at him incredulously, as he stared at you in surprise. He hadn't realized that he did all that for you, but as true as that was, he didn't need to be repaid.
Taehyung was a naturally caring person on the inside. No, he didn't show it, especially in public while surrounded by a bunch of judgmental idiots, but he had a helpful nature about him that came from raising his siblings.
You smiled at his shocked face and shook your head slightly, "Silly boy, I have to repay you, as of now I owe you a lot, so for right now, I'm only going to pay back a part of it. I'll slowly make it up to you."
"So today, I'm going to make breakfast for your family."
