You covered your mouth quickly. Taehyung was frozen in shock, as you were about to break down yet again. "Wh-What did you just call me?"
He turned towards you, eyes wide. You shook your head in denial,"TaeTae! I called you TaeTae!" He shook his head quickly,"No.. No you didn't."
You stomped,"I did! I swear I did!" You were panicking. You had no idea why you said it. It just slipped out. You've never been more embarrassed in your life.
"You..You called me..-" You shoved him, "No I didn't!" His face hardens, "Don't push me!" He says in a stern voice. You head automatically lowers, "'m sorry."
Taehyung raises a brow at the sudden submission. He also notices the way your speech shortened. "I'm seriously so confused. Look, go home, okay? I'm going home. Alone!"
You nodded solemnly, and turn back towards the crosswalk. This time however, you stop, and looke at the light. Once it turns green, you wait until the people around you begin walking, and do the same.
Taehyung P.O.V.
Taehyung watches the girl's actions intently, almost studying her movements. She were so confusing to him, but he kind of enjoyed it.
It's been a long time since anyone had talked to Taehyung, let alone annoyed him. Sure he'd been followed around by reporters, and angry citizens, but never by someone who had such innocent intentions.
He couldn't help but feel a little lifted by the girls attention. No one ever gave him a chance after what happened, but she didn't waste a second before clinging to him.
It was annoying, but relieving. He sighed heavily, before turning and continuing his way home. After the fifteen minute walk was complete, he found himself at home.
He opened the door, and was greeted by a small, but strong, hug. "Hyung! You're home!" The young voice cheered. He felt another body fly into them. "Oppa!"
Taehyung smiled down at the twins. "Hey, guys. How was your day?" His siblings giggled, and began to talk over one another about how their day went.
The twins were thirteen , and we're in seventh grade. They were energetic, and talkative kids, like Taehyung used to be, but the older boy loved them to death.
"I'm glad you guys had fun!" He hugged them again, making them squeal. The babysitter walked in,"Mr. Taehyung-ssi. Thank you for coming back on time."
Taehyung's face turned awkward as he bowed at the man, "Thank you, once again, Officer Lee." The man nodded. "I'll see you again tomorrow, children."
The man left. Officer Lee was a policeman that knew Taehyung well. He offered to watch the twins after school, after finding out that no one would help the teen out.
Being a criminal, everyone knew about the boy, and was too afraid to get close to him. Officer Lee decided to step in, since it was only for an hour and a half. The twins got out earlier than the teen, and Taehyung has his appointments every so often.
Taehyung was thankful, but felt awkward about the situation. It was odd having a police officer in your home when you came home everyday.
Taehyung was the guardian of the twins, as their family members were no longer around. He used the money from his mother's death. It was just enough to get by, but he knew he'd have to get a job at some point.
The only issue was that he had no one to keep an eye on his siblings. The officer only had so much spare time. He though about maybe posting something on a board at school.
He hoped someone would be reasonable enough to know that two thirteen year olds would be harmless. He hated the way his siblings had to live, because of the past.
_________The next morning, Taehyung woke up the twins, and had them dress in their uniforms after washing up. He made them a small breakfast.
After they had finished, he got himself dressed, and began walking them to school. He knew they'd be a bit early, but the teacher seemed pretty understanding about the situation.
The whole way to the elementary school, the children laughed, and jumped, and talked about anything and everything. Taehyung listened, and joined in sometimes.
He dropped them at school, after giving them both hugs, and telling them to behave, and made his way to the familiar bus stop, arriving just in time to catch the bus.
Thankfully, being in college meant his classes started a bit later than his highschool courses had, his siblings weren't that early, and he wasn't very late, considering his college courses started a bit earlier than elementary.
He walked through the familiar gate, and was minding his own business, when a body collided with his side. He stumbled a bit, and went to push them off roughly, but stopped.
"G'Mornin' TaeTae!" He rolled his eyes at the short girl, "What? It's early, shoo!" The girl giggled, "Shoo fly! Don't bother me!" She sang, still holding the boys arm.
Y/N P.O.V.
You giggled as you pulled Taehyung along, swinging his arm, childishly. You hummed a fun tune, and made a strange face. You laughed.
"TaeTae, watch!" You called making him look. Once he did, you made the face again, puckering your lips, furrowing your eyebrows, and scrunching your nose.
Taehyung let out a surprised laughed. You grinned widely, and hugged his arm, "I made you laugh! That's the first time, Da-TaeTae!" Taehyung went stiff.
He shook you off, "I wasn't laughing with you. I was shocked by your immaturity." He scoffed, and walked away from you. You pouted.
You were sure he was laughing at the face you made, but the more you thought about it, he could have just been laughing at your childishness.
You crossed your arms and pouted, stomping your way to class. Once you arrived, you glared at Taehyung, and stomped to Hoseok.
You pulled your chair out angrily, and sat down, huffing. Hoseok raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong, Y/N?" You huffed again, "TaeTae is a meanie!" You said, making sure he heard.
Taehyung rolled his eyes at your antiques. "Stop yelling. You're too loud." He scolded, feeling as though he was talking to his sister.
You quieted down, but kept glaring at the front of the room. You decided, you were going to give Taehyung the silent treatment all day.
