Kaito was in Kokichi's hospital room again, he was lost in thought when Kokichi's hand twitched a bit.

Kaito gasp. "Kokichi?....can you hear me?"

He didn't respond but his hand continued to twitch a bit.

Kaito gently shook him. "Kokichi?..."

A very quiet and faint "mm" he made.

Kaito sighed. "If you can hear me...we all miss you. So hurry up and get better."

He stopped moving after that but his heart rate was normal.

Kaito left.

The next day he tried to ask everyone to go fishing but all said no, D:
He went all by himself, and vowed to catch everyone a fish.

This time he thought it'd be cool to go farther out so he rented a motor boat. He noticed there was an island so Kaito went closer to it.

When Kaito was next to the island....Holy fuck Gonta was there .

Gonta was carrying wood, he noticed Kaito and waved.

Kaito gasp. "Gonta!?"

"HI KAITO!" Gonta called out

"What the fuck?" Kaito mouthed to himself Gonta not being able to see he did.

"GONTA HAS'NT SEEN KAITO IN FOREVER!"

Kaito rowed his boat closer. "You're...you're alive?"

"Yeah! Of course Gonta is am!  Gonta woke up here!"
"Oh...I knew that....totally...."

"Gonta has been here with people who love bugs! And don't really wear clothes"

"Oh god oh fuck"

"They're real nice!"

"Listen...come home plz."

"Okay!" He says getting on the boat.
Kaito rowed him home.

"What has happened as Gonta was on eyeland?"

"A lot. You should stay indoors for a bit."

"Gonta can't wait to see Kokichi!"

"Oof. About that."

"Yes?"

"He's asleep in the hospital."

"WHAT??? WHY HE IN SICK BUILDING?!?!"

"It's a long story. But he'll be okay. Probably."

"PROBABLY?!? THIS IS UNPOSSIBLE!!!! HOW COULD KOKICHI BE SICK?!?!"

"He got sick and had to go to the hospital. But he's just sleeping."

"HOW DID HE GET SICK??????"

"Uh....nobody knows. He was probably bitten by a snake."

"BY SNAKE??? BUT SNEKES FRIENDS!!!"
