Shuichi was at the grocery store 🏬 picking up bread 🥖 and milk 🥛 when he saw Alex's mom. Sitting on the floor.

Oof. She was bawling her poor eyes out.

Shuichi didn't know what to do. She noticed him. "You're...You're Alex's Japanese friend right? The one with the white boy name?" She asked.

"Uhhhh yeah."

"Eddie...was...was I horrible mother? Did he hate me?"

"No, he was drunk. He did something stupid."

"I...I wish I didn't leave him alone...I was I had spent more time it's just...10 other siblings that are kids is hard and...my life if failing apart...my boyfriend left me, I had a miscarriage, and one of my sons died" she was crying hard.

"Uh...." Shuichi left quietly because he was sad now.

He then stopped, turned around watching her. Shuichi went back and helped her up. Then left again.

Nothing else happened. The snow was starting to melt, spring is coming.

This winter went hella fast man. Winter was nothing but pain.
So far no shit has happened.

Shuichi sat on the edge of his bed looking at the photo of his and Kaito's first flower 🌸 festival. He would do anything to go back in time and stop what had happened.

But he's a skinny twink so that ain't happening. ;)

So the next day Shuichi asked everyone if they wanted to go to his house. Only Kokichi agreed because everyone else had plans.

Kokichi went to Shuichi's studio apartment.

Shuichi sat on the couch. "So...how's life?" He asked.

"Well...I'm getting better...little by little"

"That's good...." Shuichi mumbled.

"You?"

"I'm living. That counts for something."

"Yeah...a lot better than I was while ago"

"Yeah, like when you went into a rage. Don't do that again please."

"I don't mean just that...around this time last year...I was...not good"

"Oh. I was actually better last year."

"Yeah I know, I saw"

"Now I wanna fUCKING DIE-"

Kokichi just hugged him "I know..."

"So...this weird guy came to my door the other day.....apparently Mintii is alive and she's gonna kill....everyone....but that's bullshit...." Shuichi whispered.

"That...That might not be bullshit..."

"Why? Mintii's dead. And she'd never eat a baby...."

"Did you think she would kidnap all of us and try to torture us alive?"

"She's DEAd!!! I saw her die!!!"

"Did you check her pulse? Did you see a coroner's report?"

"Uh....shit."

"Yeah, she fooled you once she could do it again..."

"Ah shit. I better step up security. Tell Kaede to do the same."

"Of course" he pulled out his phone giving her a call.

She picked up. Sounding hella cranky. "What?"

"Mintii isn't dead."
