Chapter 18 - Call Me Maybe
Grace
A Few Months Later
"Sebastian!" I yelled, trying to suppress the laugh coming over me and the tickle war began. I rolled around on the floor, trying to escape his wrath. To think this boy cared so much for his brownies, I only ate one!
"Nope, say you're sorry," He threatened, making sure to get every inch of my stomach with his fast moving fingers, a grin on his face with the satisfaction that he was torturing me after what I'd done.
"No," I screamed when I finally caught my breath, "You still have five," I finished with a giggle in between each word. He shook his head in disapproval of my answer and moved his hands down and started to go towards my feet. Oh no, not there. That's the ultimate tickle spot for me, literally can't handle anyone touching my feet or I go crazy! Number one reason I never get pedicures done. I suddenly felt his fingers on the soles of my feet and I started wiggling around, but he had his arms restraining my legs so I couldn't go too far. Jeez, this boy really was offended over one brownie. I reached for a pillow that was resting against the foot of the bed and quickly chucked it at his head, confusing him long enough for him to stop tickling me. I laughed, but this time out of actual amusement and quickly tucked my feet under myself in a sitting position. Sebastian narrowed his eyes at me as he scooted closer towards me on the bed.
"You might have won this time, Foster, but this isn't over," He said trying to seem intimidating, which made me laugh. Sebastian was about as intimidating as a cute little bunny. He wouldn't dare hurt anyone, not usually anyway, and even if he did, he'd feel extremely guilty, probably apologizing straight away. I shook my head at the stupid boy in front of me, smirking.
"Yeah yeah, whatever you say Sea-bass," I replied in a mocking tone, bobbing my head towards him a little, causing our noses to touch slightly. In return, Sebastian closed the little gap that was between us and planted a sweet little kiss on my lips, and I could tell he was smiling whilst doing so. Sebastian tucked my hair behind my ear, and pulled away for barely a moment, opening his eyes that met mine. I stared back for a moment, wondering when life got this way for me. Christmas was basically around the corner, and here I was studying for my finals with my boyfriend. Boyfriend. Never thought I'd see the day Sebastian and I would get back together, but I guess that's what living with your ex does to you. Things between me and him, they were good. He makes me happy, and I've decided after everything that's ever happened, that's my main goal. I just want to live happily and take advantage of what I have in the moment, because you'll never know when it could change. It's already been a couple months since the whole incident with my family. I'd sort of blocked it out, forgotten it, and buried away to deal with it at another time. No one could believe what I told them had happened that day, especially not Deborah. Poor woman was crushed to hear how my mother and father had treated me, but I guess it was just because she'd never been around that kind of family. Hers was always so united, so loving. Mine, of course, was the exact opposite, and I'd grown to accept that. What went down that day did not surprise me one bit, looking back at it now.
"Okay," I said in between short little kisses, "I really need to study now,"
"But baaaaabe," Sebastian whined, which I rolled my eyes at. This boy is always trying to distract me.
"Don't 'babe' me, I need to ace this test, so either you help me or get out," I said in a very serious tone, which he only replied to by kissing my neck, sending a shiver down my spine. Of course, should have known this would happen. Sebastian was definitely not the kind of guy who would take no for an answer when it came to fun, at least this kind of fun. I shook my head at him disapprovingly and pushed him slightly, which he only sighed at in return and nodded, taking my art history book to test me on the subject. I smiled sweetly in victory, as I had finally gotten the great distracting Sebastian to finally get off my back and help me study!
