Malkia was telling herself that it didn't matter what the entire school body thought of her, it didn't matter that they had spent the entire last week calling her names, throwing things at her and putting her down in the worst way possible.

She hadn't know that people could be that mean, she had never been on that side of things before. She was always the popular one; she was smart and protector of the weak but that didn't seem like the way to go here. After-all, all her problems had started when she had decided to stand up for someone. Marla didn't even look her way, in Marla's defense it was after Malkia had refused to apologise.

Oh sweetie, we only care about how well you're dressed and how much it costs.

She remembered the Tuesday after as though it had happened just now.

Nothing bad had happened to her the previous day so there she was pretending like nothing was wrong and going to her first class when Ryuu suddenly emerged in front of her. He was not wearing school uniform, she realized. Not that he was wearing school uniform the previous day either. All she could remember at this point was the angel looking one being in all white.

He was in a very intricate floral fashionable shirt that was too flashy for school or day time, to her at least but he was making it work with his black jeans and expensive sport shoes. She didn't know a lot of brands but she would of have had to be blind not to notice that he was wearing things that she could never afford.

"Did you think about it?" he asked her, his eyes were mean but his lips were turned upward in a smile. She realized that he had brown eyes that seemed so dark because he was wearing such a cold expression. But then it could of have been his intensity. She figured that he had to be one of those guys that never smiled or laughed and when they did it was a sinister intimidating smile like the one he was wearing now.

But she couldn't deny that he was attractive and perhaps something one might like to look at but at present she simply felt disgusted by this person's guts "Think about what?"

"Apologizing," he said moving closer to her, she smelled something masculine and delicious but not in an edible sense, just the kind of smell that made you want to fan yourself. She wondered if it was the cologne he was using, perhaps she could find a cheap knock off and get it for her boyfriend, Tom.

She scoffed like she thought what he'd said was preposterous but the sound sounded out of place because she had taken far too long to react and her laugh far too breathy to have the right effect.

"I don't think an apology is necessary, you understand what you did wrong don't you?" she said patronizingly as she moved back, away from his intoxicating smell and so she could gain her composure.

An expression passed over Ryuu's eyes, she thought it might of have been amusement but his jaw simply clenched and he moved closer still so they shared breathing space, he bent to make sure that they were breathing the same air before he whispered to her "You will regret this," he removed his hands from his pocket taking out of it a bright red scarf and then placing it on her breast pocket of her blazer without inappropriately touching anything "You've been tagged." He said wearing the same sinister smile.
