Wednesday was finally ending, all the students could be seen leaving the school premise and entering their luxurious cars, most of them literal airbuses because some of the students lived a few cities away from the school - but what did it matter when it only took them half an hour to commute?
Ryuu was leaning against his X-xodo; one of the fastest and most expensive cars in the human galaxy, looking at all the faces that were going past him. He was looking for a specific girl because he had finally made up his mind after a week and three days, he was going to let Malkia be a part of his life.
He stood up taller when he saw her; she was going to pass quite close to him so he waited for her to get close before he called out to her. She turned to check who it was and then kept on walking. She was close enough for him to reach his hands out and touch her so he did, nudging her a bit so she was right in front of him.
"What?" she said acrimoniously.
Her attitude threw him off but he went on "So I've been thinking," he said taking a dramatic pause."Yes?" she asked impatiently.
"I think I'll let you be my friend."
"What?" Malkia was so thrown by the comment she didn't even know how to react.
"You know - you'll get to hang out with me and all that."
"And what made you think that I want that?"
"Everyone wants to hang out with me,"
"Well, go be friends with everyone then." Malkia said stepping back.
"You're a very stupid girl," he said placing his hands into his pocket, this was his tell. He always put his hands in his pocket when he was nervous.
"And you are a buffoon, so you really shouldn't talk."
He wanted to react outrageously but he found himself smiling instead "But why wouldn't you want a friend like me," he pressed "I have money, all the right connections and a very distinguished lineage."
"Those are not the things I look for in a friend,"
"Why not? What could be more important than money?"
"You'll be shocked to hear this, but money can't buy you everything."
"Really?" he asked her, he was quite enjoying this little exchange and he was glad they were close enough to speak in low tones so none of the eavesdroppers around them could her "like what?"
