Rich's POV
I'm in the hospital with full body burns after the fire.
No-one came to visit me, but then Jeremy came into hospital.
People came to visit Jeremy. Course they did.
"Hey, Jeremy, you'll have introduthe me that anti-thocial headphoneth kid friend of yourth. Is he thingle? Or are you dating him? I'm fine if you are, totally bi now, but he's cute." I say, randomly, don't know why I said it, but I did.
"Y-you mean M-michael? I-I-I'm not d-dating Michael! We're just f-friends!" Jeremy replies, stuttering.
"What a name. Michael. A handsome name to su-" I start.
"Talking about me?" A voice says from the shadows, interrupting me.
"Michael! You came to visit me in hospital!" Jeremy shouts.
"Of course I did, we're still best friends, right?" Michael says. "Oh, and Rich?"
"Yeth?" I say, cringing at my lisp. Damn, I'll never get used to it.
"I am single, maybe when you're out of here, we'll have a trip to the mall, just the two of us."
I blush, shocked he would date me.
"I-I-I'd like that. Very much."
