(Woah, total long chapter alert. If you're reading this. Thanks for reading <3 And excuse my very long title, I could not think of anything that describes this chappie in general so omfl I came up with that. You'll understand, and I'll stop rambling on, cause no one is probably even reading this 🖤)

The sun was rising once again, and an alarm was blaring in the gable room of Anne Shirley-Cuthbert.

The sleepy redhead got up groggily, she did not have enough sleep, she slept at 5 in the evening and woke up at midnight changing into her pjs and realized she missed supper, so she ate some biscuits she hid on her cabinet, while she sat with a book down on the little space by the window, reading under the light of the moonlight, constantly staring out of her window and at the marvelous moon and the stars beyond.

She couldn't sleep until she finished the book, she was a fast reader and she finished it by 5 am and she woke up again at 7 am. So that was a brief history of Anne and how she ended up being very groggy early in the morning.

She did her morning shenanigans. Washing herself, brushing her teeth and all the usual.

She got herself ready with an outfit of black leather skirt and fishnet tights and a crop top that has a big NOPE on it, which implies her mood of the day. She adds a bit of makeup, brushing her hair thinking of a hairstyle and ends up with her classic braids and soon she was ready.

She trudged down the stairs. Marilla was still a bit upset at Anne and Anne tried her hardest to please Marilla by doing the dishes for her or cleaning the table.

"Hurry up Anne you don't wanna be late for school." Marilla calls for Anne who was just finished washing the dishes, her hands were still wet and she was wiping her nose with her hands getting a bit of sud on the tip of her nose. She looked helpless.

"Oh come here you." Marilla says wiping Anne's nose with her apron and also her hands. Anne giggles at this and Marilla soon enough chuckled too. Anne hugged Marilla, with her famous bear hugs.

"You silly girl, off to school with you." She says breaking off from Anne's bear hug. Anne knew she was forgiven.

Anne wore her high cut lace up boots by the door.

Anne kissed Marilla and Matthew goodbye and headed off to school in a better mood. She met with Diana as usual, as they told each other just about everything on their way to school.

"Do you think Ruby's still mad at me?" Anne asked as they were walking along the forest path.

"I don't think so Anne, we talked to her and explained everything, I'm sure she understands. Please understand her too though she can be a bit like...that over Gilbert. But she really is a sweet friend though." Diana says clasping her hands.

"I believe she is a sweetheart, but I do not understand why she is like that over some dumb boy."

"Have you ever had a crush Anne?" Diana suddenly asked.

"Well now, let me see...oh have you heard of Romeo, he is so chivalrous, isn't he? Romeo is chivalrous and dope dying for Juliet and all that shi-"

"No Anne, like a boy as in in real life, not a fictional character." Diana says exasperated at her bookworm friend.

"Well I guess, I haven't. Boys are annoying in real life. There's just simply no one out there as chivalrous and dope as my Romeo." They both laughed as Diana told Anne about her crush on Charlie as Anne teased her.

They finally reached school just in time, they put their stuff in their lockers. Anne slammed her locker door shut and a face was staring right at her. Anne was a bit surprised, and gave a little jolt, but soon composed herself, ignoring the one and only Gilbert Blythe who was leaning on the lockers and looking at her with a boyish grin on his face, and also a bandaid on his nose. Anne stifled a laugh when she saw it.
