The next day was just like every other day. New day new opportunities, Anne optimistically thought. Today was the official screenings for the Athena Publication for future writers. She was aspiring to be one. She loved the thrill of writing, her imagination can go wild and she can cuddle herself in her own little world. Well, that is for fiction anyways, most articles on the newspaper are non-fiction, but she could always try to be a feature writer or take on double roles, triple even. Whatever it was she was determined to join the school's publication.Anne arrived at school without Diana's company once again, she said she had to hurry to school for an important something with Mr. no one knows who cause Diana doesn't tell them. She's been like this for a while now. It's been irking Anne, but again she trusts her bosom friend will tell her eventually.
She reached her lockers and saw Billy's group of goons stride in the hallway like they own it. Then she remembered...Moody.
She has to prove them wrong somehow. It's just unfair and unjust.
"What's up, new girl, wondering why Moody's not at school?" Anne kept shut. She had no time and effort to spare to this pity excuse of a guy.
"Oh right, he got suspended saving you pretty little ass." Billy says laughing annoyingly and looks at his goons for approval and they all give him the same annoying ass heck laugh.
Anne finished fixing her stuff. She closes her locker, rather harshly, making Billy visibly flinch yet still visibly try to act cool about it like nothing happened.
She was about to say something when her eyes caught something glistening in the distance, it was moving, panning to a few certain locations.
That's it! How could she not have thought of this sooner!
Anne stopped herself from wasting her saliva on a single word for the imbecile in front of her and just gives him a sly and playful smile.
With that she strode off to homeroom leaving behind Billy and his goons, what else, but dumbfounded. Not gaining the reaction they anticipated in their little minds.
'Oh Billy Andrews, you are so dead.' Anne thought.

"So what do you think guys, are you in?" Anne asks as she stands in the middle of her group of friends as they talked by the school garden, it was too risky to talk in the cafeteria with a lot of eyes and ears around. They all looked at her with different reactions. Ruby was trying to process everything. Tillie was being a worried gal. Jane was practically in. Josie pye was skeptical.. Cole was absolutely in on it. Jerry just did not know what they were talking about. Charlie was at basketball practice and Diana was still nowhere to be seen. And Gilbert as Ruby said as soon as they sat down that Gilbert was absent again, they said he got sick or something. The others pointed out that Charlie and Diana were not there too.
"Wait, so what you're trying to say is that we sneak in to school like a bunch of delinquents and steal something?" Josie Pye asks skeptically after that slight pause.
"Yes, exactly." Anne answers.
"We would most definitely get in trouble for it and you want us to just help you?" Josie Pye continues her skepticallsm (that's not a word)
"I mean, if we get caught, we'll most definitely get in trouble if we don't then we won't." Anne answers a bit unsure now. Why you gotta be like this Josie Pye?
"Uh huh." Josie Pye says as if she has proven a point.
"You know what, I'm sorry for dragging you into this, I know this whole plan is not 100 percent sure, with just about 80 percent possibility of success, and that 20 percent is just too risky, but I just couldn't lay back and let Moody suffer something that isn't his fault in the first place. I was the one there, it was my fault for trying to fight Billy, so it's okay if I do it on my own." Anne says in a breath, that gets everyone taken aback.
