The Jr Heroes club (BNHA next Gen)

Mio Todoroki

"Is dad going to be there watching?" Mio asked her mother with a mouth full of rice.

"No he won't be one of the judges, but he will want to hear all about it when you get home." Lumina answer. Shou scooted closer to his big sister and grabbed her arm.

"Daddy said you will be fighting big scary robots... Are they going to hurt big sister!?" he whispered, Mio looked down and sighed. Shou loved Mio maybe even more then he loves Lumina and Shoto and is really over protective. Mio and Hiro still laugh at the time when some guy spat at Mio for being related to a Hero and little 6 year old Shou came running outside to punch the man in the balls.

"No of course not. You know me I'm going to be the best hero in the world, a tiny pile of metal can't hurt me~!" Mio smiled.

"Well I better get going, I'm going to pick up Hiro"

"ok good luck" Lumina kissed Mio goodbye on the cheek. Mio waved to Shou and her mother from the door before leaving.

"GOOOOO"

Mio ran into the arena and immediately froze 3 bots to the wall, she could feel all eyes around her staring. Most likely because she wore her black track suit, and mid brown hair that faded to deep red gives the impression that she would control fire instead of ice.

People just decided to give up on the spot as Mio froze the robots one street at a time. She ran through an ally to find the next street but saw a small black haired boy sitting in the middle of the road as a robot was getting ready to take a swing at him. Mio panicked and started to sprint towards him to pull him out of the way. She grabbed his shoulder and pulled him towards herself only to have her vision to fade to white. She looked around wondering if she was even in the same place.

"Hey Mio"

She turned around to see a familiar face.

"Ayano?" She wimpier. The figger smiled before the white started to fade to red.

"Mio! Stay with dad! Please!"

The silhouette's once soft voice turned to panic.

"Ayano!? No wait please don't go!"

She looked around to see the robot destroyed and the boy standing next to her, he looked at Mio with his dark green eyes barely visible though his long black hair. He glared down at her with his hands curled into fists.

"Don't touch me... ever again". He ran away leaving her there. A tear started to form in the corner of her eye trying to imagine why that forgotten memory roze now of all time. Mio felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck as she fell to the ground in pain. She looked up as the robot started to throw another swing at her, she closed her eyes and got ready her death... but nothing. She opened her eyes.

"Are you alright!?" Toda asked as he held the metal arm that almost put his best friend in the hospital.

"Y...yeah thanks" Toda help her to her feet before taking off. Mio once again looked over where the boy was standing.

"Was that his Quirk?"

She waving goodbye to Hiro, Toda and Homura before turning away to head home, not even getting far enough to put her headphones in a large hand taped her shoulder.

"Grandpa!?" "Hello Mio! It's been a while" Endeavour said with a fake smile.

"You know, I was one of the judges and saw the whole exam. And I wanted to tell you your results in person." Mio debated leaving or not she knew Shoto would kill her if he found out she was talking to him but she had been waiting weeks to know how she did.

"You came 3rd overall" Endeavour said as he sat to the park bench and signaled Mio to sit too.

"I...I did!?" Mio smiled.

"Now tell me does my son train you at all?" Mio froze as Endeavour's voice shifted to a serious tone.

"Well... my dad tells me how to use my quirk and I talk to mum about strategies and self defence" Mio explained.

"Ha well you're not going to be number one by self defence and strategies. You're slow and you're not one bit flexible. Also you get distracted, that's why you had to go to the hospital afterwards." Mio rubbed the back of her neck.

"I have a proposal? Why don't you train with me while you're at U.A"

"Ummm that's nice of you Grandpa but I don't think mum and dad will be ok with that." Mio explained as she stood up from the bench and grabbed her bag.

"They don't need to know, think it over ok" Endeavour stood and walked away leaving Mio standing there.

She walked in the door with the letter. She looked at the clock, 8:15. Mio looked into her father's office to see him asleep at his desk. She wasn't surprised since she was at work all night and day. She slipped the U.A letter on his desk and grabbed the blanket from the lounge to cover him with before giving him a kiss on the cheek

"night dad".

Mio continued down the hall and stuck her head into Shou's room to see him staring out the window.

"Shou it's passed your bedtime" Mio said sitting next to him.

"I was waiting for you to get home." He smiled giving her a drawing he made at school.

"Look, mummy and daddy are fighting bad guys with uncle Deku and you and Hiro are training to be able to fight with them and I'm watching" Mio's heart melted.

" it's lovely, I will put it on the fridge but you need to go to bed now ok" Shou nodded and got under his Red Riot bed covers and lay down on his pillow. Mio moved his red hair out of they way to kiss him goodnight on the forehead.

"Night Shou"

Mio layer down on her bed and looked over at her desk only to be met with a old picture of her and Ayano as kids.

"Night sis"

A single tear hit the pillow

(Winter winds:
Ice and wind. Gets the ice from Shoto and Lumina's wind.)

Shou's Quirk
(Half hot, half cold:
Touch his left side and what ever part of the body you touch him with will get burnt. Same on the right but you would get frostbite) (he doesn't know how to control it yet so he stays away from people and doesn't touch anyone but his family)
