The promise

The comic is taking a lot longer than I thought it would so here is a normal chapter and I will show a preview of it at the bottom.👌

"Mio... it's me can I come in?" Hiro called holding a block of chocolate and a bowl of chips. The young Todoroki opened the door and gave her boyfriend of only 1 week a small hug and kiss.
"Come in. I got out my box of movies." She smiled sitting back down on the large bean bag she had placed in front of the small tv.
"Where's Shou" he asked.
"Staying at the 2-a dorm with Touya. Now sit."

They started the movie. Love Simon was Mio's favourite and Hiro had watched it countless times with her but he sighed and sat through it again to make her happy. She sat fixated on the screen while Hiro sat and played with her hair, making it into a long braid.

"The end" the Bi haired girl sighed finishing the last bit of the mint chocolate. She looked at the small clock on her white desk.
"10:30 already. You wanna stay here tonight " She asked sitting on the bed. Hiro shyly nodded and took off his shirt before laying on the small bed. Mio gave him a kiss on the cheek before getting in herself snuggling into Hiro's arm.

Hiro's dream could simply de described as pleasant nonsense. But the dream was disturbed by a voice.
"O...RO...HIRO!" Mio shook him desperately as the brunette looked around confused still partly asleep before he locked eyes with hers with were filled with tears. He sat up and cupped Mio's pale cheek with his hands.
"What's wrong sweetheart!?"
"I...I wasn't fast enough!" She sobbed.
"First, Mum and Dad and then Shou and You. I dropped you!" His sighed in relief as he realised she just had a nightmare.
"It's ok, you didn't drop me. I'm here." He smiled moving the panicked girls hand over to feel his heart beat before pulling her into his chest. She slowly started to calm down as she felt Hiro's warm chest. Mio had been acting in a good mood for the past few days that he had almost forgotten everything that had happened. First Her mother was killed, then her dad killed himself, then finding out her sister is still alive, to almost being killed by said sister and almost being taken advantage of. All this in half a year. Hiro need to do something. Nothing good has happened to her in months. He tried to stand up but Mio panicked and clung on to him tighter.
"Please don't leave me!" She cried. The green eyed boy sighed and gave her a kiss on the head.
"It's ok, I will be right back." Mio redundantly let go and Hiro jogged back to his room to grab a gift he bought her when they first got together. He was planning on giving it to her at the end of year party but he thought now would be a good time. He walked back into the room with a small box. Mio was curled in the corner of her bed ,still trying to calm down.
"Mio... we haven't been together for long but we have grown up together. I love you and once we graduate I want to get married." The shaken girl looked up in surprise. Hiro sat down on the bed and pulled his girlfriend into his lap and opened the small box. Inside were two matching rings, one with a blue tinted diamond and the other with a dark green emerald.
"I just these are promise rings... so what do you say? If where still together do you wanna get married?" Mio had only just dried her eyes before another set of tears started falling.
"Yes... I would love that very much." She muttered under her breath happily.
