Ten years ago

Shoto stood interested as he studied the wooden target in their yard now coated in ice "wonderful Mio" he smiled before looking over at his eldest daughter. The target had not a scratch on it, a ball of fire in her hand. She kept jerking her arm trying to propel the fire out towards the target. After a minute of doing this she gave up, dropped her hand and put out the fire. Shoto put his hand on her shoulder and gave her a warm smile "Hey, it's ok Ayano. Maybe we should work on short range." She smiled back. She looked over at her sister and gave her a proud grin.

Mio sat to the wooded deck watching her sister fight. She was unable to look away. Her long waist length dark brown hair was glowing in the sun, complemented by a few white strands of hair pinned back by rose gold floral hair clip that there grandmother gave her when she was born. Ayano is tiny, even though she was 8 and Mio was 5 they were almost the same size. Ayano was the weaker of the two girls, everyone knew it. However Shoto and Lumina still train her like Mio. Ayano had a strange quirk that they don't know how to control yet so training is difficult but they work through it.

The doorbell rang interrupting there training. Mio shot up and ran to the door knowing how it was "MUMMY!" She laughed as she crash tackled Lumina. "Mummy Mummy I hit the target today!" "Good job sweetheart" the brunette smiled before walking over to give her husband a short but sweet kiss. Lumina held up a shopping bag "I got dinner" everyone cheered. Chinese food night was the best.

They sat around the table talking about everything like the small crunchiness of the noodles, the unsimatary of Shoto's new hair cut, the humidity of the weather and it eventually got to what they were going to do tomorrow. "Me and you mother both have work so your going to stay with the Iidas" Shoto expanded, the two girl nodded before going back to there meal. Tenya was on a long mission so it was just gonna be Ayano, Mio, Toda, Homura and Hiro with Aunt Mei, they didn't mind as she was super fun to be around.

"If you two are done can you get ready for bed." Shoto said sweetly, the girls nodded and ran to there shared room to get into the pajamas. Ayano got into her favorite fuzzy polka dot pants with a plain red singlet and Mio got into a large, blue, oversized t-shirt that use to belong to Shoto but she repurposed it as a night dress. For about an hour the sisters played with their favorite stuffed toys, talked about school and told radom jokes. There father walked in to say good night and read them a story. "Now which one do you want to hear tonight" "The one about the green haired wizard!!!" Ayano answered her father gleaming. "Again!?" the sisters sat around there dad getting ready to listen to their favourite story.

"Once upon a time there was a prince who ruled a large kingdom and all the people loved him, but nobody loved the king. He was a tyrant who every night turn into a huge fire monster and would EAT PEOPLE! When the prince tried to stop him the prince was locked in the dungeon below the palace. The kingdom as in ruin but one day a green haired wizard walked into town asking what happened and why most of the house were burnt down. The people told him about the king and that they were worried about the prince whom they haven't seen in weeks. That night the wizard snuck into the palace and went to the dungeon to find the prince. When he found him the prince told him everything. The wizard felt bad for the prince so he decided to share his magic with the prince giving him enough power to fight the king. The next morning the prince used his new magic to capture him and the wizard used his staff to send him to another dimension. The prince took over the kingdom and everyone was overjoyed and the wizard and the new king became best friends the ruled over the kingdome together."

Shoto kissed Mio in the forehead who had fallen asleep already and then tucked Ayano under the Uravity merch bed sheets. "Good night sweetie" "Night daddy."
