The Shinzo Experiment

After the wonderful weekend they spent at the beach Kaminari finally got home late Sunday night. "I'm back!" He announced taking off his shoes and pulling out his hair tie letting his short blonde hair fall naturally. Chatting could be headed from the living room, Sara knew his mum and older sister were still at work so it must be one of his dads friends. Hey Dad, Hey Shinzo" He smiled walking into the living room. "Ahh Sara just in time" Denki stood up and stretched before walking over and patting his son on the head "I'm gonna run down the street to get more beer so entertain the guest" Sara nodded and Denki ran to the door.

Sara sat on the lounge with a coffee next to his father's friend. "How's your arm?" Shinzo asked pointing at the small bandage on Sara's arm that he got fighting the villains during the internship. "It's fine... Umm... you said The master was your son?" Shinzo flinched and looked away playing with his stubble trying to think of something to say. "He is trying to hurt me and my friends. I need to know", "very well then". The two repositioned themselves on the couch getting ready for a long story.

"20 years ago we found a villain who did inhuman experiences on humans. One of them involved me. Somehow he got some of my DNA and used it to create a lab made villain with the same quirk as me. And he succeeded, the quirk is slightly different but he was happy with the results. When he was arrested the boy was brought to UA were we met. He was only a tiny child and well maybe it was because he was made using my DNA but I have this intense need to protect him. Once I graduated and turned 18 I officially adopted him and named him Izuki Shinzo. He was the sweetest boy around me, always wanting hugs and always talking but there was a few things... strange about him. He aged slightly faster the the other kids and when he started elementary school she became aggressive to the other kids. He was never with me but over time it got worse. He became a teenager looking and acting 15 even though he was 10 and getting involved with gangs and villains. One night the hero Storm brought him home after he tried to rob a bank with a group of villains and that was the first time we fought. And...And I had to use my quirk on him which I promised I would never do. Next morning he was gone, I looked for him... I look for him for years but I was made to stop as the police and hero kept telling me he was dead. Ten years later... I have found him. He will listen to me, I need to talk to him. My Izuki is still in there somewhere"

Sara sat dumbfounded staring at the purple haired hero. "I'm sorry for asking. I didn't know it was that bad." "Oh hush, I know you and your friends are trying to find him" Sara froze "Please... don't...", "don't worry I'm not going to tell anyone on one condition, keep in touch with me. At the rate the hero's are going You with probably find them first since your in the middle of it all and when you do call me, I want to talk to him. Ok" Sara nodded in response. Both of the boys purple eyes looked away looked away from each other creating an awkward atmosphere. "I have returned!!!" Denki loudly announced as he walked in with a 4 pack of beer in his hand. The father and son smiled at each other before Sara left to go up stairs and sent the information he just learnt to the group chat.

Kinzoku (Iida):
Well that's great but I can't not feel sorry for Izuki Shinzo

Psyche (Aizawa):
Well at least we know his quirk now.

Shadow (Tokoyami):
So we know about The Master, we know him and Hera work with the league of Villains and that it's all hero students being targeted not just UA student.

Error (Tamaki)
The villains we arrested and interrogated didn't tell us anything. They said they were paid to do it. So there is nobody actually in the league.

Cloud (Midoriya):
Well at least we tried.

Red-Pele (Bakugou-Kirishima):
Any other ideas on how we infiltrated them?

Slime ball (Meneta):
Maybe we should wait for the to come to us?

Psyche (Aizawa):
That stupid and dangerous

Slime ball (Meneta):
Does anyone else have a better idea...?

Slime ball (Meneta):
There we go.

Error (Tamaki):
If you guys do that you must be very careful. I won't let you make yourself vulnerable if you can't defend yourselves.

Red-Pele (Bakugou-Kirishima):
We are 1-a, we got this right

Boom box (Kaminari):
Yeah we are heroes so let's fucking act like it.

Tails (Ojiro):
I'm with Kaminari and Bakugou.

Shooting star (Aoyama):
Well it's Settled. We can talk about it more at the club meeting tomorrow. It late. Night

Psyche (Aizawa):
Same good night

Everyone said their goodbyes and went to sleep but Kaminari couldn't stop thinking about Shinzo and The master.

Also the drawing at the top is a panel from the comic (which will be published soon) and I was proud with the way it turned out.
