??? Point of View
I've been watching Coraline suffer for months. It's been nearly a year. I've seen how she has suffered and I've heard her turmoil. This hybrid girl is capable of many things, even bringing back life itself from a fraction of a soul. I can see why the king of negativity would want such a girl as his queen. She is a very powerful ally and would be an even more powerful adversary. That must be why Nightmare attempted to seduce her mother. The woman of prophecy. The carrier of the multiverse mediator. Dove was a martyr, whether she knew it or not. Murdered for her moral beliefs, because she did not want her baby to suffer as she once did.
I feel as though I owe you an apology, Dove. This all happened because I was a coward. I should have told you all of this earlier. I'm sorry that you had to die for this knowledge to come to you. If I had the ability to RESET, I would do it and help you through your hardship. Though, I suppose leaving you and your sister was the best choice. You two learned how to rely on yourselves and each other. It makes me proud to see my creations prosper.
Now it seems this story will soon be at its end. I could be wrong. This may only be the beginning. I may be a scientist, but I do not know all of the answers. Please, Dove, take care of your family. They will need you.
Now, wake up.

Cora's Point of View
I think that blast cracked my skull. My ears were ringing. Oh yeah, I don't have my circlet so I don't have ears. Nonetheless, everything still hurt. From the sounds of it, the battle stopped. I guess it was because of the surprise blast. "Ugh, what the hell did I do?"
PaperJam ran up to me and sat on his knees. "Are you alright? You're bleeding marrow," he wiped at my skull, worry written all over his face.
"I'm alright," I whispered to him. "Do you know what I did?" PaperJam shook his head and helped me up. I leaned on him gratefully.
I scanned my surroundings and it felt like my heart stopped when my eyes landed on her. Her platinum hair flowed down her back and her light blue eyes flashed dangerously with anger. All of the adults rushed over to the woman yelling the same thing, "Dove!" I stumbled forward with them until a slimy appendage wrapped around my waist and lifted me into the air.
"Cora," PaperJam yelled, getting everyone's attention. That's right. Technically, we were still fighting for my safety.
Nightmare chuckled weakly. It seems the positivity in the room was too much for him to handle. "It's so nice of you to join the party, Dove. Did you like the gift I sent?"
"It was surprising but I can't say I liked it." Mom's eyes stayed focused on me. "It doesn't surprise me that you would go after my daughter. Are you frightened of the power she holds?"
"Me? Frightened? My, my, Dove how your humor has changed. I am the King of negativity. Do you really think I would get frightened by a little girl?
"No," My mother smirked at our adversary, "but I do know that you get frightened by the prophecy." Nightmare's grip on me tightened, causing me to gasp for breath. Dark splotches appeared before my eyes. "Ah, I struck a nerve."
"You know nothing about that!" The goopy skeleton snapped at her.
"Don't I?" My mother laughed. "I know that it foretold our relationship, my death, my daughter and the outcome of this battle."
"Enough talk." Nightmare forced my soul out of my body. The upside-down heart glowed weakly. Darkness was spreading through it slowly. I was being corrupted.
"M-Mom!?" I was scared. I was so afraid. I didn't want to die.
"It's okay, sweetheart. Just focus on what your heart wants, on who your heart wants." Mom smiled at me. "That's the greatest magick you can ever wield."
On who my heart wants? Well, that's easy. He was in this room afterall. I closed my eyes and let out a slow breath. Memories flitted across my eyelids.
When we first met.
When I found out he was a bully.
When we took on Bunny.
When we became friends.
Movie nights with his family at his house.
He would listen to me practice when we hung out at my house.
The times we spared together.
How he offered to protect me.
The fight in Dancetale.
Was he jealous then?
When I opened my eyes, my gaze automatically found his. PaperJam. He's been with me throughout this whole experience. I felt fuzzy and warm inside and slowly, my soul started to glow pink again.
"PJ! I know this isn't the ideal time but I feel like you need to know!" Pink magick flowed to my right eye socket and hands. With every syllable that came from my lips, the magick grew stronger and Nightmare grew weaker. "I love you, PaperJam!"
Nightmare flung me across the room, shouting out in pain. Flipping midair, I landed on my feet. The teenagers of the allied group ran up to me. They were all looking me over for injuries.
"I'm alright," I smiled at them all and then looked to the adults. "There may be a smaller amount of us but, I think the next generation should handle this. It's time for everything to come full circle."
Mom and Aunt Raven nodded. "We agree completely."
"Then, let's go guys." I smiled at my friends. No one was going to take us down. Not when there's so much at stake here.
The fight for the end starts now. And we aren't holding anything back.
