1st September:

Nero stretches before gathering the orphans at the dining table.
"Hey, Mark, no biting. Jessica, don't hit Kevin."

Then Kyrie enters the room with a pot in her hands.
Steam emits through the lid of the silver pot. With a smile she places the freshly made soup onto the table.

Nero comes to her side wrapping his arm around her waist.

Suddenly the phone in the kitchen starts to ring. "I'll get it", The male says with a smile on his lips.
Nero answers the phone. "Hello?"
"Nero! Good to have you on the phone!" It's Morrison.
"Yes. Is there something wrong?"
"Turn on the radio, my friend."

Nero does as Morrison says and turns on the radio. His turquoise eyes widen at the news.

"Demons have been spotted near Red Grave City once again shortly after the Qliphoth incident. How did these demons reach our world again?"

Nero holds the phone up to his ear.
"Any sign on Dante and my father?"
"I'm afraid not. Our priority is to get rid of these demons and find out how they got here."
"Okay, I'll be at the headquarters in a bit."
The male hangs up and lets out a deep sigh.

Kyrie enters the kitchen. "What's wrong?"
"Demons. Sorry, I have to take care of this." The brown haired woman smiles.
"Of course. Be careful. I'll handle things here."
Nero leans down and kisses his girlfriend goodbye before entering the garage.

"Nico! We have a job to do!"
The mechanic rolls out from under the familiar white van.
"Finally. It's boring 'round here. Need some action", She says with her southern accent and gets up onto her feet.
"This will give you lots of action, trust me. Demons in Red Grave. Looks like we missed something."

Nico's eyes light up. "Then let's go!"
She hops onto the driver's seat of the car and starts the engine.
Nero sits next to her with a scowl on his face.
He was sure that they killed every last demon after Dante and Vergil disappeared.

The car dashes out of the garage and is on its way to Red Grave City where Trish, Lady and Morrison are already waiting.

"Hey, short stuff", Lady yells as Nero jumps out the car. "I'm taller than you."
"I know, just wanted a good greeting."
Nico leans out of the car window to join in on the conversation.
"Where do you want us", She asks Morrison who has a few pieces of paper in his hands.

"South wing."
"South wing? We'll be there in no time!"

Red Grave City has recovered a bit over the last few months and has built up refugee centers for those who don't have homes.
Nero's and Kyrie's orphanage also got a lot of new children due to the large number of deaths.
Many houses have been rebuild already and people started to live their life normally again.
But now with the south wing under attack, everyone lives in fear once more.

"Let's go then."
The crew enters the van with the neon "Devil May Cry" logo on the side and drive to the south wing of the city.

The rebuild houses lay in ruins once again.
Trish, Lady and Nero exit the van. "God dammit", The white haired male curses under his breath.
"I thought we got over this."
"I guess not. Demons ahead!"
Trish points ahead of the crew at a group of Empusas and Riots.

All of them ready their weapons for battle. "Let's get rid of these things and call it a day."

It doesn't take the trio 5 minutes and the demons are dead.
"Are you kidding me?! Watch the merchandise", Nico scolds Nero as he has destroyed two of her precious Devil Breaker's in battle.

"Guys!" Lady's voice interrupts the scolding.
"Take a look at this."
The crew walks over to the black haired woman.

In front of her lays a boy with black hair cut into a mullet. A white streak hangs over his left eye which seems to be bleeding.
"What the", Is all Nero can say. "He's hurt", Trish says while taking a closer look at the boy's wounded eye.
"Let's take him in", She says in conclusion catching Nero off guard.

"Now hold up. You want to take in a stranger? We don't even know who he is and why he is here."
"Yea yea, whatever. Pick him up."

With a groan Nero follows Lady's orders and picks up the young and unconscious male bridal style.
He lays him down in the van while the others take a seat as well.
"Let's call it a day", Morrison says leaning back in his seat.
"You didn't even do anything."
"Doesn't matter."

The crew drives back to Fortuna where Nero's and Kyrie's orphanage is.

Since Dante's and Vergil's disappearing the two women have come to visit multiple times out of boredom.

Kyrie greets the group with a smile.
"Hello! Back so soon?"
"Yes, we need the medical kit", Nero says carrying the boy outside the car.
Kyrie immediately moves as she sees him and grabs the medical kit.
Nero sits the male down and Kyrie takes a closer look at the wounded eye.
She lets out a sigh of relief as she washes away the blood.

"He's okay. It's just a scratch. He got a hit on his head. I'll fix him up in no time", She says.
Nero watches her every move and eyes the unconscious male suspiciously.
