4th September, 1 pm:

Jason reads through a magazine as suddenly a voice interrupts him.
"Hey, Jason. Are you free at the moment?"

The said male looks to the side and right at Nero. "What now?"

Nero's eyes widen.
It's almost like a light shines onto the male simply sitting on a chair with a mature magazine in his hands. Sparks appear next to his face as if he was some sort of treasure.

"Nero?"
Jason waves his hand in front of the white haired male's face. No reaction.

"Kyrie! I broke Nero again!"
Not long after the female dashes into the room and finds her boyfriend with a bright red face and not responding to anything.
"Let me handle this", She says.
Then she swings her hand and hits Nero's cheek with a loud slap.

"Wha- What was that for", He yells holding his pounding cheek.
"There we go", She chuckles.
"Now, what Nero actually wanted to ask you is if you could read to the children again? They have been begging me all day."
Jason nods after shrugging.
"Sure, why not."

Jason walks off into a different room leaving Kyrie and Nero alone.
"You've been hanging out a lot with him", Kyrie says after a short silence.
"Well, he needs our help."
"Because of a friend you don't know even exists?"
Nero lets out a sigh. "Look, I trust him and you should to. With him things have been going more smoothly around here."
Kyrie nods.
"You're right. I shouldn't be too harsh on him. I should check on his bandage!"

The woman runs out of the room and to Jason who is about to start the reading session.
"Sorry, children. I need a moment with Jason."
The kids moan as the two adults leave the room and go into the kitchen.
"I just wanted to check on your eye."
Jason nods as Kyrie slowly removes the bandages.
Her eyes widen.

Jason's scratch has fully disappeared and his left eye's color is red.
"J-Jason, did you know your-"
"My one eye is red? Yea, that's what Lapis did to me."
Kyrie puts her hand in front of her mouth in shock.

"I'm so sorry!"
Jason raises an eyebrow. "For what? You didn't do anything. Now, if you'll excuse me I have 40 children to entertain."
With that the male leaves the kitchen and a shocked Kyrie behind.

Nero enters.
"Kyrie? What's wrong?" He grabs her shoulders in worry. "His eye. I believe you, Nero."
"Calm down, okay? I'll keep an eye out for him."

4th September, 5 pm:

Later in the day Lady and Trish have decided to stop by the orphanage to check on Jason.
They see his red eye rather as natural after what he told them.

Together they eat dinner and feed the orphans with stew.

"Wow, Jason. I didn't think that salt would make a difference. The kids love it", Kyrie says as she watches the herd eat with grins on their faces.
"Just told you my opinion."

Jason turns to look out the window.

The sun is slowly setting and the sky starts to become dark.
A yawn escapes his lips while stretching his arms.
His back aches from keeping his wing hidden all day. He can't hold it in much longer.

"Excuse me for a bit", Jason says and jogs off into his room where he finally lets his wing appear out of nowhere.
The male starts to pants and sits down onto his bed.
"That was close."
One minute longer and he would have caused chaos back there.

Jason decides to take off his gray shirt and green jacket and then sits down by the window to observe the night life of Fortuna.
He sighs at the beautiful view but his calmness gets interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Jason? It's me, Nero. Can I come in?"

Jason looks back at the door as it opens with Nero stepping in.
A smile appears on the white haired male's face as he sees Jason's wing in its full glory.
"Now I get it."
Jason raises an eyebrow.

"I assume you can't hold it in forever."
"For someone who never needed to do that it's hard."
Nero grabs a stool and sits down next to the winged male.
"It's pretty", He sighs as Nero carefully traces each feather with his finger tips.

A shiver runs down Jason's spine as he does so. "What are you doing", Jason groans with his cheeks turning pink.
"Just... observing."
Nero can't stop touching the soft weathers and starts to rather pet them.

Suddenly a moan escapes Jason's lips causing Nero to stop his actions.
"Was that... you", He asks.
Jason's face is as bright as a tomato.
"What?! Angels are sensitive when you touch their wings! Everyone knows that, idiot!"
Nero laughs.
"I didn't know."
Jason pulls his wing back in and makes it disappear out of embarrassment.
"It's cute", Nero suddenly says and Jason decides to face the male. "Really? It's annoying in everyday life. Especially at night when the drunk ones always want to arouse you with it."
"Angels do that?"
"Well, the poor ones that live on the streets."

Both laugh and look into each others eyes.
"I-I think I should get some rest", Jason then says with a blush on his cheeks.
"Ah, sorry. I'm off then."
Nero exits the room with a tint on his cheeks.

He leans against the door with his back.
"What the hell is wrong with me?"
