3rd September, 2 pm:

Jason lays on the couch as he skims through one of the magazines that are laying around the house.
It's a rather explicit one but he doesn't care.

The door to the garage opens, revealing Nero with a tray of food.
"Hey, how are you feeling", The white haired male asks catching Jason's attention.
"Good but also stressed."
Nero sets down the tray and sits down next to the male.
"You want to talk about it?"
Jason scoffs.
"Rather not, hot stuff."
"You think I'm hot?"

Jason's face turns bright red. "T-that's not what I meant, idiot. What are you, mental?"
"Jesus, calm down", Nero laughs at Jason's reaction.
"Idiot", Jason mumbles under his breath.

Meanwhile Nero reaches for the food and holds it out to the cussing male.
Jason notices the gesture and just raises an eyebrow.
"You haven't eaten anything all day, right?"
Jason nods at Nero's question.
"Eat."

The black and white haired male takes the food from Nero's hands and starts to eat.
"You know, I admire you for wanting to save your friend."
"Are trying to flirt with me?"
"What? No." Nero raises his hands up in defence causing Jason to smirk.
"What I mean is, that I know how you feel. I tried to save a friend but before I could do something he died."
Jason stops his movements and looks up at the now sad Nero.
"Sorry to hear that", He says.
"That's why I want to help you. We'll find Lapis, I promise."
Nero puts a hand on Jason's shoulder as a comforting gesture. "Thanks."

"Here you are, Nero!"
The said male quickly distances himself from Jason as he hears Kyrie's voice. "Yes, babe. What's up?"
"The kids want to hear a story. Would you mind reading one to them?"
Kyrie smiles at the male who just helplessly looks around the room.
Then an idea comes to his mind.

"What about Jason? If he's going to stay how about he makes himself useful."
"Excuse me?"
"That's a great idea!"
The woman's eyes light up at Nero's idea and she immediately grabs Jason's wrist to drag him into the house.

Jason mouths a "fuck you" at Nero who just chuckles with satisfaction

Kyrie drags the male into the living room where all the children have already gathered with their blankets, pillows and toys.
"So, kids, this is Jason! He'll be staying with us for a while so he will be reading to you today", Kyrie introduces the angry male and pushes him onto a stool.

Jason groans in annoyance.
"Have fun!"
Kyrie leaves and the room fills with silence.

Jason looks at the children who just look back at him in curiosity.
"Fine." He grabs the book that lays next to him.
"Alice in Wonderland."
The children cheer after hearing the title of the book.

Not paying attention to it Jason starts to read the story and the kids slowly drift off to sleep.

"Wow, no one has gotten them to sleep that fast before."
Jason jumps out of shock at the sudden voice. He looks around the room and sees Nero staring at him with a gentle smirk.
"Jealous?"
"A little."
Jason closes the book and gets up from the stool to walk over to the male on the other side of the room.

"So, Nero, what's Fortuna like?"
"Should I show you?"
Jason raises an eyebrow.
"Come on, I'll show you!" Nero grabs the male's wrist and drags him outside and into the city center of Fortuna.

Jason's eyes widen at the city's beauty.
He has never seen anything like this before.
The only thing he every experienced was a village life with nothing but farmers, wooden houses and dirt everywhere.

"Wow", He sighs twirling around on the spot to look at the city.
"Was your angel town that different?"
Jason nods.
"Thank you for showing me this... Nero."

The said male looks at Jason and his eyes widen.

Jason's skin sparkles a bit in the sunlight.
Nero heard that angels' skin does that and he was always curious about it.
His cheeks light up in various shades of red.

"No problem."
