Unravel. (DMC Nero x male OC)[completed]

2.

2nd September, 4 am:

Nero opens his eyes and sits up as he hears something rummaging through the garage.
He looks down at Kyrie who is sleeping peacefully next to him.

The male gets out of bed and grabs the Blue Rose in case something happens.
Carefully he opens the door to the garage and enters the dark room.
He can see the outline of a dark figure looking through drawers and throwing tools on the ground.

Nero puts his finger on the trigger and holds up the gun.
To his disadvantage, the gun makes a small clicking sound which the figure notices right away. It turns around and faces Nero.
"Show yourself", Nero yells as he turns on the lights.
It's the boy they rescued.

His black and white hair messily hangs in his face and his left eye is all patched up. A dark gray wing pierces out of his back and is almost 2 meters long.
The lights of the garage make him look like the most handsome man ever causing Nero's eyes to widen and his cheeks to reden.
"You're awake", He stutters and lowers his gun.

"Where am I", The boy asks with a hint of anger in his tone.
"You're in Fortuna. The name's Nero."
The boy scans Nero from top to bottom just to make sure that he is okay.

"Jason."
"What?"
"My name's Jason." The tension in the boy's body and the wing disappear.
"So, you're an angel", Nero asks after seeing the wing.
"You could say that", Jason says as he sits down on the couch where he laid before.
"That son of a bitch ripped one out."
Nero cocks his head to the side. "Who?"
"You seriously haven't heard of it? That angel went totally bonkers. Went on a rampage and killed everything in his sight", Jason replies as he lays down on the couch.

"He became a real monster, used to be quite a charmer."
Nero raises an eyebrow as he watches the boy talk about the past.
"I'm the only one who survived, kind of. That fucker made me a Fallen Angel."

Nero crosses his arms in front of his chest while yawning. "You know what time it is, right", He asks.
"Yea, so?"
"We can talk about this when I'm actually able to listen. I'm not the only person who wants to hear your story, you know."

Jason rolls his eyes and turns his back to Nero.

Nero wants to leave the attitude having boy but stops in his steps.
He spots a blanket on a shelf and decides to take it to lay it onto Jason.
Then Nero leaves the boy for the remaining night.

2nd September, 10 am:

Trish, Lady, Nico and Nero have gathered in the garage to listen to Jason's story.

He talks about how an angel named Lapis started to destroy the city and kill everyone. Jason mentions that he's the only friend Lapis ever had and that's the reason for his survival.
His journey lead him to the south wing of Red Grave City to find Lapis but was overrun by demons. He barely escaped.
"And then you guys found me, I guess."

"So, you are saying that the cause of all this trouble is an angel", Trish asks while crossing her arms in front of her chest.
"Yes, ma'am."
"Don't "ma'am" me."

Jason lets out a deep sigh.
"Lapis kept talking about some bottle filled with demonic power. You see, even though he was the healer of our village, he was quite interested in the underworld."

Nero's eyes shoot into Jason's direction.
It's almost like the Order of the Sword.

"Did you find anything during your investigation", Lady asks which Jason answers with a nod.
"I guess the asshole opened the portal to the underworld."

Everyone gasps in shock.
"H-how?"
"Don't know. Have to ask him."

Nero curses under his breath as he continues to eye the handsome Jason.
"Was this some kind of plan? Did that Lapis guy mention anything to you", He asks.
"Nope. Nothing. I guess not even his housekeeper knew of all the demonic books he kept in his study."

Everyone becomes silent.
"The only thing we can do now is find out what Lapis is up to and follow his tracks", Trish says with determination and leaves the garage.
Lady agrees and follows the blonde.

"I'm going to check up on Kyrie", Nico says and leaves the garage as well, leaving Nero and Jason behind.
An awkward silence fills the room as both avoid any sort of eye contact.
Then Nero decides to break the silence.
"You hungry?"
Jason looks up into the male's turquoise eyes and shyly nods.
"Come. Kyrie prepared some food."
Jason stands up and follows Nero inside the house.

Children run over their path to the kitchen where the others are already waiting.
An unfamiliar brown haired woman smiles at Jason.
"You're awake! I'm glad to see you're alright."
Jason nods as he eyes the small woman from head to toe.
"Oh, how rude, my name is Kyrie."
She holds out her hand for Jason to shake.

He shakes her hand shyly.

Then all of them gather at the dining table and enjoy a wholesome breakfast.
