Anan.
Ahsab and I are sitting in silence and it dawns that both of us are broken. I knew that in life the only person that can fix you is you. But the way it seems to me some of those parts of you are shaped just for another to fix. And the fucked up reality is that I can't ever fix Ahsab and I know he can't ever fix me too.
"I wish we could see each other somewhere were you're not the Crown Prince"I tell him before I let out a sigh. I knew that was impossible Ahsab was the Crown Prince everywhere.
"Maybe we could get outside the palace though"His head leaves my shoulder and he's staring right at me.
"I don't know"I tell him. He shakes his head,
"Cmon"he held my hand. "We're going out"
"I didn't really mean it"I lie. I don't know why Ahsab took it all serious, okay maybe I wanted it to happen but I didn't think he was actually going to take it up to thought.
"Well"he got up already, I didn't move an inch. "I'm not giving you a choice"
I am shocked when Ahsab carries me bridal style. "Oh my God"I say. "Put me down"I order but he ignores me, what if someone comes in right now and they see us in this position, What would they think?. My heart accelerates when we leave Ahsab 's room and we are at the door of his suite.
"Where are you taking me"I tell him, I'm finding it hard to talk because God knows I'm surprised how my body and heart can handle this body contact with him.
"To your room"he answers. "So you can get ready"
"No, no, no"I struggle to get down but it's in vain, Ahsab's grip on me is too strong. I'm sure I'll get a heart attack when he opens the door to his suite and I'm face to face with the corridor. "Ahsab please"I find it hard to breath. His face falls back as he lets out a loud laughter, for a moment I'm mesmerized by how beautiful he looks when he's laughing but then I snap back to reality.
"Please"I beg yet again.
"Not till you promise we're going out right now and that as you leave this please you're going to change so we can leave"he demands. No, no, no. What did I get myself into?.
"Ahsab, please"I beg. He threateningly takes one more step outside the door and I let out a squeak. I'm dead meat already if anyone comes here.
"Say it"he says in between laughs, it was crazy how Ahsab was finding this whole situation amusing because I wasn't. He starts to walk and I struggle some more.
"Okay"I breathe. "I promise that after this I'll go to my room change, then go out"
Ahsab seems relieved, he drops me on the floor gently and I punch his arm the hardest I could but he only breaks into fits of laughter. I fix my scarf and Ahsab continues laughing, he looks so at ease and I've never seen him laugh this much. And I liked it.
A clear of throat disrupted both of us, we both turn to face Her highness Princess Watfa, I look down and there's nothing I want to do more than sink into the floor. I don't know where I'll start explaining what brought me upstairs in the first place.
"What's going on here"she asks. She's looks different, older. It's now that she's up close that I can see the bags under her eyes, the wrinkles in her skin and the lines on her forehead.
"I requested Ayesha up here and I can deny I find her very amusing"Ahsab says and I want to kick him where the sun doesn't shine. He's an asshole.
"Oh really"Princess Watfa enquires. Her one eyebrow is raised and her arms are folded.
