Anan

Italy was bliss and that was what I needed, we left Mana two days ago and arrived yesterday. And so far so good it was beautiful, I needed the break. The annoying thing was that both him and her were here at Florence for Munira's wedding. I mean I get it that he was here, he was Munira's brother but her what was she doing here.

I lovethe whole vibe of Munira's wedding and the vibe of everything. Razan concluded I was heartbroken and I quote as she said 'when you accept it Ana, it'll be better. Of course, I did cry my heart out and I had to confide in Razan because she made me do that and to be honest that was what I really needed.

At the moment we were at the palace in Florence. It was exquisite, rich and beautiful, the architecture of the palace was the best built, since Italy was known as a city of great architecture. It made absolute sense that the palace was the most beautiful ever owned.

Tomorrow was Munira's wedding, she was bubbling with happiness. You could see the happiness shine in her eyes, she was bursting with energy and it was contagious. No matter how dead my vibe was, a smile was plastered on my face because of how happy she was, and I was happy for her.

It was 5:30 pm, we were sitting at the gardens having the henna party. It was a tradition before the Nikah where the bride and her friends would sit down and have henna applied on their hands and would just enjoy the evening. And then at night we would have a bridal shower for Munira which she was anticipating. She didn't know anything about it cause it was a surprise, she just had to look good and appear. Latifa and I had worked our butts off for this bridal shower, for Munira to be happy.

"Ana, do you think I should dye my hair back to black for the wedding tomorrow or I should let it be blonde"Latifa asks. Yes, she was still blonde and was still contemplating whether to dye it back or not. I turn to look at her, she did look pretty as blonde very might I add. She wasn't wearing any makeup, today no one was. Not even foundation, we were all relaxing. We had our spas earlier and I felt really refreshed. I did need that.

I was feeling a tad bit depressed at the moment but I hid it for Munira. This was her happy day, she deserved to be happy and I wouldn't rub off my unhappiness or bad energy on her or anyone here. That's why I fixed a happy facade through out this trip. I decided that immediately after this and Munira settles, I would apply permission to leave the palace for now at least until he was happily married. I did think I'd feel better after a few days but I don't think I'll ever feel better.

"Ana"Latifa sharply says but a bit loud, her eyebrows were furrowed and I realized that she had asked me a question but I had kept mute obviously lost in my thoughts.

"You do look pretty but you might want to dye your hair back to normal cause in a few years you might look back and be disappointed when the phase goes away"I tell her.

She tilts her head to the right. "Makes sense"she lets out a breath and reaches out to play with my low bun. Yes, since we were all wearing kaftans I had allowed my hijab off. Well all of us weren't wearing scarfs cause this was an only ladies party.

"Shut up, your hairs longer than mine"I roll my eyes.

"That's cause I wear extensions and you don't"she torts back.

I let out a chuckle and put my arms around her bringing her head closer, resting it on my shoulder then placing a light kiss on her forehead. She smiles and I know I make her happy as she does me. She lifts up from my shoulder and I see her wave excitedly.

I look at towards the direction to see who she was waving at. It was Princess Farah, Latifa was obsessed with the princess, I mean wasn't everyone. It annoyed me to the core, there was something about her. It seemed like I was hating, I probably was.
